Much Yummy — Restaurant in Le Mars

Ordered $60 worth of food including sweet and sour chicken, steamed pot stickers, and cream cheese wantons. The only item I could finish was the wantons. Everything including the Wantons had a weird fishy smell and taste. I worked food service before and could tell their grease needs to be changed probably last week sometime. Amongst my order was two servings of sweet and sour chicken. The chicken also had a distinct fishy taste and the sauce smelled odd as well and tasted like no sweet and sour sauce I've ever had. Also my sauce came in a litteral bucket which I thought was also unappealing. I can't speak to what the service is like or "atmosphere" as I ordered it through door dash. All in all a great waste...

Amazing variety of all kinds of Chinese food on the buffet, it was great to try a little bit of everything. Most everything is fresh but there were a couple dishes on the buffet that were drying out. Otherwise, everything was fresh and delicious. Especially the grilled chicken. There is chicken, pork, beef, rice, noodles, etc. on the buffet. Everything you would expect and more from a Chinese buffet. Ice cream too.

Lunch buffet and drink came to 15.77 which is quite affordable, and it’s a couple dollars more for the dinner buffet.

Food was mediocre at best. Some bites were cold some were hot. Broccoli pieces were either to mushy or to hard. Fried rice looked like it was dipped in food coloring and had absolutely no flavor. Stuffed mushrooms had no flavor, not sure how thats possible. The chicken and broccoli was colored orange like they put food coloring in it. The plain white rice was over cooked and hard. The chicken on a stick was almost equal to beef jerky. They need new chefs for sure. I could have made better...
