This place was absolutely amazing BEYOND words. The food was very good, warm, and delicious. Not one thing was wrong with our order. We spend about $80 and it was all worth it. They give you a good amount of Sauce to start with, they give good portions of everything else as well. The tenders were more than big enough. They are well worth your money. The waffles were out of the world. They had an amazing taste, very moist, and warm. The syrup is also 10/10. The owner herself which I believe was Tracy came to our table and was very kind. She checked on us, made sure everything was good, and even went to the extent of letting us try her new Buffalo Mac n Cheese for no cost. My experience here along with my family was nothing short of amazing. The workers are all very friendly, and the place is very clean. Admittedly, I decided to stop in here with no expectations. I am always up for trying new things, and was intrigued by the combination of chicken and waffles together. The minute you walk in, you know this place is different from all the chicken chains. Very clean, very welcoming, easy menu to order off of. There was a sign warning me that everything was handmade and it may take some time to get the food. I placed my order and sat down, and within a few minutes, the food arrived. Absolutely delicious! The waffles, chicken, and fries were all piping hot, very obviously freshly prepared and not pulled off a warming rack. The sauces were all great too. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout all 50 U.S. states and the best chicken tenders we’ve ever had are served at CHIX Chicken and Waffles in Le Mars, IA. What’s served are made-to-order premium, plump, tender, and juicy tenders with just the right balance of seasoning. The fries were excellent, and surprisingly the waffles ended up being a great desert to finish the meal off. Service was very friendly and professional, and the dining areas were clean. In fact, we enjoyed the experience so much, we went back the next day.
