Friendly staff for the most part. However, customer service and communication is awful. Not to mention the false promises that never get fulfilled! I purchased furniture two years ago that was discounted due to damages and was promised to receive repairs using the warranty that was included in my contract. Repairman showed up one time to my residence and took pictures of the damaged equipment, promising that replacement parts would be delivered to the store and that representatives would repair it. Never heard from or saw them again. I kept calling Farmers and I was told that parts were either on back order or had not arrived yet. I kept calling and my furniture is still not repaired. I got behind on my payments a little after then and a rep told me once I made two payments to get caught up, someone would contact me to schedule a day to repair my stuff. Well, the same credit manager I spoke with gave me a different story than the one she gave me last month. After automatically taking an additional unauthorized payment, I called and she told me that someone let her know I had one more payment to make before I was caught up and a repairman can be sent out. Mind you, no one told me about this at all until I called today concerning an unauthorized debit. There is a lot of confusion and lack of proper communication between the employees and customers. One day something is said and the next day it changes. I would not recommend purchasing anything here. And no, I am not emailing a customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband has an account that he fell behind on due to a move, we updated the address on his account and explained the situation and they started being very rude to him and threatening law suits for late payments. Management called him and every reference on his account 5 to 6 times a day and showed up at our front door demanding payments 3 times and threatening to put a warrant out for theft of property. The last time a woman showed up to our door there was an agreement made that he would pay a certain amount of the late payments on a certain date. They still continued with the multiple calls to everyone on his account even after the agreement was made. He showed up on the agreed date to pay the amount agreed to and they were highly disrespectful. He went in today to pay the rest of the past due amount and was screamed at and threatened to have the police called on him in front of 2 of our children bc they were demanding the $92 past due amount and Septembers monthly payment all at once today even though there was an agreement for past due to be paid on the 1st and septembers payment on the 10th. If something is not done about this come Tuesday morning there will be a harassing communications police report for both employees that spoke to him that way. This was the most unprofessional and degrading experience we have ever had at a...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePredatory lenders...read the contracts very carefully.. predatory interest rates make it difficult to pay down balance. Also they will try to add additional financial products you don't need and are NOT required to purchase like "insurance", adding a substantial amount of money to your balance. They aren't doing you a favor, they are taking advantage. You should decline coverage and save yourself money. They refuse to fix it if it breaks even if you have insurance. They literally stalk you like predators! They show up at your home unannounced if youāre late on a payment. Then talk to you like a dog. Uncaring, unprofessional, rude, & demeaning. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS...
