A local restaurant serving phenomenal food at a great price. So happy we found this place! Feels really cozy and cheery. Honestly one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had. Food came quickly. The staff was so sweet and helpful. We got tacos and sopes (first time ever trying the latter. The base patty/shell was basically soft like the outside of a tamale, but thicker). As you can see the sopes are somewhat dense so 2 would be perfect for a decent-sized meal.
They had toppings like pickled onions and slaw which you could fill up on the side. We tried chorizo, chicken, and Al pastor. All of it was excellent! Read moreSo lucky we randomly decided to stop here to have some food on our way up north! The food is AMAZING!! I grew up in Mexico and I often miss the authentic sazón of home cooked meals lacking in many of the so called “Mexican restaurants” I’ve tried… so I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem! I had the tacos de tripa and they are as authentic as they can get! So were the port tamales! So yummy! And they did not skimp out on the meat like many places do!… the rice and beans brought back childhood memories! They were delicious… definitely worth stopping here if you find yourself in the area. I had the pleasure of talking with the owner, Ms Yesenia… who made our visit even more pleasurable
Ms Yesenia and ms Letty… thank you for the amazing food...

The server never asks if you would like a refill. The drinks don’t even have lids so it’s a pain if you would like to take it on the road back. The food is okay small portions. Overpriced. The elote was hard when we ordered it. The rice was lukewarm. The only thing they have going for themselves are the house made tortillas. During the summer, it’s also incredibly hot inside and they refuse to...
