This was in ruins during my childhood and is now a beautiful historic site. The Gouldsboro Historical Society has restored the entire train station to it's former glory and curated a wonderful little museum full of history of the ice harvesting business and beginnings of the town.
Lots of interesting old artifacts and neat stuff to look at. There is a gift shop with vintage postcards and various memorabilia.
They also rent the back space for events and there is a covered pavilion to enjoy the scenery of Gouldsboro lake they used to harvest the ice from.

They had Pumpkin decorating, kids activities, and shopping. They even took our credit card to pay for the food that was cash.
