When it was Martha's it was a one of those special places you could find a amazing sandwich for great prices . The new management seems more concerned with bleeding tourist for maximum profit. The base price of sandwichs is ridiculously high and the quality is just "ok" . They charge for anything and everything extra you ask for regardless of what that may be, the attached photo shows a sandwich ordered (and charged) extra onions but the amount on the sandwich fails to justify the extra cost. You can "ask" for all the extra you want and they will gladly charge you but actually getting "extra" is something that just doesn't happen. Today I was charged 41.43 for 3 sandwichs and the justification was "rising food cost " so basically they openly admitted to passing their operations cost on to the customer, I understand running a business is difficult but when profits are put ahead of customer satisfaction and quality, most intelligent customers will just go elsewhere. Hey only have rolls with seeds with no other option.. my wife is allergic so she had to scrap them off.. There are plenty of really good sandwich shops (and just as many bad ones) throughout the pocono mountains and I would highly recommend seeking another establishment until this place gets its priorities straight. Truly the hidden gem of Gouldsboro. I moved back to Gouldsoro for 6 months and I’m so glad we had this nearby to get takeout from all the time. We also love getting this when guests visit. It’s the best take out food right near Big Bass Lake.

Italian & cheesesteak strombolis are delicious. As a sauce/marinara expert (yes I'm from NJ) they have a tasty respectable flavor. It was nice to find a local place while in Gouldsboro on my frequent travels up to the area. I've picked up chicken salad, pepper poppers and blondie brownies all tasty. Friendly owners and pizza guy! Good for the pantry supplies; milk, bread and local eggs. Since they have opened I've stopped several times. Good stuff Main street Deli!...
