I brought 2 cylinders to blockers recently and they overcharged for very poor work. One cylinder got machined .008 oversized then what it was suppose to be and the other cylinder was machined .004 to small. Both top end kits were left with the rings not being gapped and this is something any machine shop in the past i had do boring and honing work wouldve done. They worked but not very precise machining. They also left a huge burr on one of the intake ports that had to be filed because the ring wouldn't even go up past it. I found that out after trying to install the new top end. They complained to me about the deck surfaces because I used a 2000 grit surface prep disc on cleaning up the decking from the old gasket. They had said it gouged the deck but it didn't. If anything there machining of the deck left bigger gouges then my surface prep tool. Charged me extra after quoting me a price. Parts manager also said and I quote" if you don't like it take it somewhere else" when I said about the difference in price. I've been going to blockers for 20 plus years and now I won't be going back. That and there 100% markup on prices compared to what I can get the same parts online for is obsurbd. I had just purchased this bike used for my teenage daughter, so it had to be in perfect working order.

There was one part that was on backorder for the breaks that took a few weeks to come in, but once they got that in, it only took one day to get all the work done!

I'm very happy with the end result, The bike runs perfectly now, and the crew over at Blockers is always helpful when I have questions after the fact.

I just visited this establishment with my son. Staff did not acknowledge nor asked what we were looking for. All males were being welcomed and greeted. (I am a female). No one asked me if I was looking for something. My son was looked at, at all moments, and the way his hair looks. I would hate to think it is because we look different and come from a different background, thus I cannot imagine they only treat well Caucasian clientele. Only one female made eye contact, yet kept staring at my son while talking to a coworker. Not a pleasant experience. Looks don't determine a client, nor the ability to pay...
