American Legion — Restaurant in Lehighton

The Legion itself was nice. Other patrons were very friendly and welcomed our group of 13 girls that were visiting from out of town. Bartender on early Friday afternoon was not so friendly. Very terse and not welcoming in the least. Same bartender was working last time we came in and we remembered her attitude right away. We generally stay at a Legion for about an hour or two and spend a lot of money on gambling, treating the other patrons to a round or 2 and tip the bartenders well. The food is okay for the locals. I feel like this place is for an older crowd or family type thing. It's okay.

The food is okay as well. I'm from the city so I had better, but if you want to try a different experience this is the place for you.

They have vets and older people. If you were to friendly go to the bar area you could probably pick up a nice conversation with the locals.
