They have the worst security staff I've ever seen. Now they have a sign at the entrance that says you must provide a valid ID if you are under the age of 30. Now that's fine and all but I'm 39 and come to the casino almost weekly. I have never been stopped asked for ID until a state trooper tells security through a headset to stop me and harass me. The security guard takes my ID but refuses to give it back after having for more than 10min. I do not have flags on my name or ID so I ask for my ID back and she refuses to give it back. At that point I showed the security guard the sign that is twice the size of me that says you must provide ID if your under 30. She calls for back up. I guess she felt threatened. At that point I demanded my ID back and they called for a state trooper to come up there. Now why would you even ask for ID when you have facial recognition at the entrance. The trooper came out knowing me and my friend's on a first name basis. That seems a whole lot of extra bull if you don't mind me saying so. What happened next you might ask. Well at that point the trooper states that they don't have to give my ID back. Excuse me I'm pretty sure re we in Missouri the law says if you are over the age of 15 you must keep a valid ID on you at all times. And you tell me your not giving it back. OK so then they tell me if I want it back I have to sign a paper saying I would not come back to the property or I would be arrested. All that because I asked why I was being asked for my ID in the first place. Guess what you are not the only casino in St.Louis but in my eyes you certainly...
Read moreWell after a 5 month absence due to Covid-19, I returned and as usual made my way to my favorite Video Poker Machine and as usual, simply had a blast. Didn't walk out of there with any casino cash but I could of after hitting Three. 4 of a kind on the same play I was up so I cashed out and after getting my cash I figured I was up a $ 145. How I wished I would of played quarters like I normally do but times are tough and I only came with 60. Which I fully intended to spend any way, so with that in mind as I was headed towards the exit door,. I moved to the left and before I knew It I was sitting in front of my machine playing. Hit absolutely nothing and was down to 37 dollies and a 10 voucher for the food court which expires in two days. Do grabbed some chicken wings which after the voucher cost me $1.04. Had a blast and got me outs the house,. Wished I'd have left when I was a head but I was gambling, and I do it every time. My rule is After you hit a good one if I get down to $500 I...
Read moreI had never been here before so my first experience was for the Slaughter and Great White concert in February 2025.
The people working there just for the show couldnât have been any friendlier or nicer or more helpful. Just pleasant and attentive as all get out. Top notch.
Park around the far side, donât pull into the first casino lot. Go around back and park in the garage.
I got lucky buying seats in the front row of the risers, which are like portable bleachers that give you just the slightest edge over people who want to stand for hours during a concert. So thereâs my tip to you show goers: sit in the risers.
Plenty of bars in the âlobbyâ area and there were two inside the show area, if youâre into that. Sound quality wasnât bad. Mics needed to be turned up and the drums were a bit loud, but that may have been the audio guys for these two bands - no clue.
Only downside? Thereâs only one set of restrooms in the lobby area but if you catch it at a good time youâll be fine.
Iâd...
