Exquisite Dining Experience at 1904 Steak House If you choose 1904 Steak House at River City Casino for your dining experience, you are in for an exceptional treat. Despite my personal struggles with gambling, my visit was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the fantastic service and delectable food. Even with a modest budget, my $20 turned into $60 at the casino before heading to the restaurant—a small victory that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was impeccable. The staff truly cares about making sure you enjoy your meal. As someone whose mother was a server, I understand the importance of good service, and 1904 Steak House did not disappoint.
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the steaks. Both my partner and I found our orders to be cooked to perfection. A must-try is the French onion soup, which boasts a gooey cheese sensation that is simply irresistible. While they didn’t offer prime rib, a usual favorite of mine, the filet dipped in au jus was a satisfying alternative. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the "gigantor" potato was a delightful accompaniment.
Our meal came to $159, which included the steaks, a shared French onion soup, and a salad. We even had leftovers to take home, and they were just as delicious the next day. This level of quality and care in the meal makes 1904 Steak House stand out from the rest.
In summary, 1904 Steak House is a top-rated dining establishment that delivers on its promise of a fine meal and excellent service. Even if you have high expectations, this restaurant will likely exceed them. Whether you are a local or just visiting, make sure to experience 1904 Steak House for a night that will make you appreciate the finer things in life.

Read moreI took my mother ,22yo daughter and 12yo daughter to dinner here for the holidays. It was last minute,so we were under dressed. However,we were still courteous and my children were very well behaved. The girls checking you in at the door are ..unprofessional. Lol. They were conversing with each other and disinterested in appearing upscale. They are outside the room,so I suppose it doesn't matter. We were promptly seated and the busser was exceptionally nice. He did most of the interaction with us,so we separately tipped him before leaving. Our waitress rolled her eyes at my eldest daughter every time she asked a question about a dish and cut her off midsentence to ask if she should come back. It was NOT overly busy so her concern with standing at our table for a few moments was extremely rude. My daughter was unsure if she wanted to add the crab legs to her meal due to size. She didn't know if she could eat it all. Mind you,it would have totalled her meal to$75,so you would think the server would have been eager to make an upsale . In all,my bill was $160.00. The food was pretty good, and portions are fair as well. I don't recommend getting any of the steaks more than medium bc they are dry and charred. Lol. But that's a common issue. I am quite unhappy with the waitresses behavior though ,bc she was friendly with others tables and VERY short with us. I assume it's bc of our attire. I did tip her$17 ,however we all know I should have given more based on percentage. She saw us tip the busser when leaving($10) . Lol. I think it should have been reversed. He did way more work than she did,and graciously. Hopefully I don't get her again,if so,I'll ask to be moved to a different area. Oh,my youngest is vegetarian. They had few options for her. Even the salads had meat. But she's used to it so she...
Read moreHad 6:30 reservations, didn't matter. No tables ready, had to wait, was told they had to clean a table for us. First hostess haf to ask multiple times what my name was for the reservation while we waited.. Then another host takes over, and we start over, he needed the name the reservation was under also.. We were the ONLY ones waiting... Finally get seated after walking past many other tables that were ready.... Placed order, 15 minutes later waiter comes out says too bad, out of the Prime rib.. Been open 90 minutes, its Friday, our of meat at a steakhouse? 40 minutes in, appetizer finally shows up.. I tell the manager four out of the last five times here they are out of the main cuts of meat, he claims not on his watch in the last 45 days because they now prepare 3 times more the night before.. FAIL. Because here we are, open only 90 minutes and already prime rib is not available.. I ask whats the point of making reservations if we have to wait to be seated, he says to clean tables. FAIL. Doesn't it make sense to have table ready at 6:30, if there is a 6:30 reservation.. I mean, what if the people at that table tooklonger to eat or leave, then you have people waiting longer who made reservations.. LAST TIME HERE.. Food was another disaster, wasted too much time already. Manager has failed many times now, never...
