If I could go negative with how many stars to give, I would. I went to this location this weekend and spotted a few girls waiting around who said they were waiting for blankets to be put out so I waited for a bit as well. The whole time I was there workers were coming in and out of the stockroom making comments, āTheyāre not on this one.ā As they took racks and crates out. One worker (Yessenia) in particular made the most comments and got disrespectful toward all of us. Aside from rolling her eyes at us and giving dirty looks she said, āI wish people would get jobs instead of waiting around.ā (As I was actually in my work uniform) and āPeople have nothing better to do than to wait around, get a job.ā I sure hope your cameras have sound and captured this all. Not only were employees disrespectful and pretty much getting a kick out of people waiting but the manager was allowing it. At this point we knew they were purposely not going to bring out what we were waiting on so everyone decided to leave. However other collectors went to the store after us and witnessed how strategically these items were put out conveniently when your employees clocked out so that they could purchase. One collector said your team stood around and watched as other collectors looked for blankets they spread out and tried to hide between other blankets. Iām sure they enjoyed the show that they helped orchestrate. What a way to humiliate and degrade customers. Mind you not everyone is a reseller some are truly collectors & your employees have shared with several other collectors that a group of resellers wait every day for items to drop when everyone in this collector scene knows thatās not the case. We all know each other and talk to each other we know what they are saying about collectors to other collectors and itās a shame that employees at this store are spreading false information about customers and humiliating/disrespecting customers in store. Do better Homegoods! & please watch your camera footage you will see everything in this review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe employees at the Lemont Homegoods are very helpful and friendly, which is not the case for some of the other locations, so kudos to the Lemont staff!! The store is very clean and well organized. The reason I didn't give it four stars is really a complaint against all the Homegoods stores now, not this location in particular. I have noticed that all the stores are cramming so much more inventory in the past few years that the shopping experience has become less enjoyable and more confusing. The inability to move your cart through the aisles, crowded sections, and products falling all around you is overwhelming and I spend much less time browsing (and less purchasing) especially on crowded days. Honestly, I love my dog and pets in general, but do we really need 3 + aisles devoted to pet goods? I love Homegoods and have for many years, but I find myself avoiding going there...

Another lady didnāt get her name she had gorgeous banana curls , she was so in tune with her surroundings and such a joy and so very knowledgeable with her job . The whole crew smiled and the energy was a beautiful thing at this location. they are obviously under good , strong leadership and it shows . Be very proud u all. I most def will be making a trip back to visit this location . It made my whole trip so worth it . Itās good to see people actually like their jobs and care .
