I've been shopping Restores for years. Most times we "drive the loop" meaning we start in Topeka, cruise KC, and end in St. Jo. Takes us 2 days but lots of fun Our favorite location WAS the drumas store. Not anymore. The new Lenexa store is clean, well organized and friendly. I had conversations with Derek and Chris. Both where available, friendly, and helpful. We ended up buying a range, mini fridge and a cart of misc. We arranged a pickup date for today but have to delay it 2 more days. Tried to call but no answer. I don't fault them for not answering. Heck I'm not even sure I got the right store as the KC Restore phone system is a bit catty wompus. I have seen you accept worse donations that are still in your store and havenât sold plus this is a massive location. There is room. I drove 20 minutes and I came by to donate an antique top hutch that had multi uses and the young guy in the donation center didnât even look at it.
