No samples is unacceptable. Maybe your bartenders over pour samples, or your clients are abusing your sample policy - either way that's a staff training failure, or the majority of your bets on offer aren't worth drinking.
Sheets and Jovi juice are actually pretty good 2/8) the rest are middling at best, though nothing I had was actually bad.
Atmosphere is nice enough, live music, good food truck, and a permissive child policy might all be in this venues favor.
But this is a brewery, most of their beer isn't "good" and they have a no sample policy -for whatever reason.
A taste is 0.5 to I've Oz Max. You're free as a business owner not to conform to the craft brew standards, or call the latest from Miller Coors "craft", but I'm going to call you out on it and opine that you're being ridiculous. I do know how everything from Miller Coors tastes and don't need a sample, but I do need one for your latest creation.
Also, the price of your "tasters" (5oz minimum pour) is bizarre and out of sorts for a brewery that thinks it's beer is good. Though it does make sense if you know it doesn't.
I'd skip this place and I won't be back.
I added an extra star for great glassware. Glasses were appropriate and serving sizes was generous. A huge deal to me personally and presumably anyone with a nose.
And also Joco juice is a reasonably ok hazy for the mid-West. But we do have founders and...
Read moreI found a new favorite beer called English Session ale. This easy to drink beer goes with just about everything. My friends have been to Limitless a number of times already and I was able to tag along. I see why they like it since they have good beer. They have a respectable 12 beers on tap and offer 4 samples in a flight. Not all were my favorite: I can do with out the tea IPA, but I still respect the flavor you got out of this beer. This brewery is located in a business Park, so by all means, it is not a romantic destination. They have a bunch of tables in the front along with a long bar that seems to limit transactions to one end with one cashier. This tends to bottle neck the doorway that goes to more tables in the back. The back is a large room with a gymnasium feel and lighting which even includes a couple of ping pong tables. Food is offered through a connection with a BBQ food truck parked out front. I had to remind myself that this food truck is not Limitless, because if it was, they would have lost at least a star. The food experience was not good (although for some reason I don't understand, one of my friends likes it), so do yourself a favor and eat before or after or see if you can bring...
Read moreFirst visit to Limitless Brewing was on 07/05. Boyfriend had a beer flight of the 4 available IPA's on tap. I had the Mexican lager. We both thought the menu was a little too IPA heavy. He enjoyed all of the beers, but wished for fewer "hazy" IPA options. I thought my lager was tasty. I prefer lighter options to IPA's. Overall, the only beer option I would have ordered was the lager. So slim pickings if not a sour, or IPA, drinker. While my boyfriend mostly orders An IPA, this day he wanted a lighter option. So after the beer flight, he has a lager, and enjoyed it very much. We loved the music, and the fact that there was a food truck, even though we did not partake since we had other plans. We loved the atmosphere. Would be great, if they were to add some sort of shade to the outdoor patio. Love that it is dog friendly. There are many breweries, and while we liked the atmosphere, the beer options were a little limited for our tastes. We wanted to try it, but would probably only come back, if more varied beer selections, and we happened to be in the...
