Need more than one glass returnable machine The shop and scan app makes my shopping much more peaceful especially with the running total available. WARNING I'm updating my review because I feel strongly about cyber security. I recently purchased a 12 pack of 12 ounce cans of Stella NA. The sticker had a sale price of $14.99 with an additional $7 rebate so the total would be $7.99. When I cashed out it didn't give me the sale price or the rebate so I notified the attendant. The attendant was very polite and overrides the system to give me the sale price but she couldn't do the rebate. I had to go to customer service for that and was told I needed to scan the QR code on the sticker to get the rebate. I walked back to the beer section and scanned the QR code but it came back as an unsafe site (see attached picture). I then went back to customer service and they gave me a $7 friendly card. I notified them they should take that sticker down because it poses a risk for potential hackers to access my phone and anything else attached to my information. I have my security settings set to protect myself but that may not be the case for everyone. At first my phone did give me the option the continue to site it'll go back to safety. Against my better judgement because I trusted Meijer in taking cyber security seriously I decided to continue to the site but thankfully my phone security would not let me go further and provided me the the information in the...
Read moreThis evening my service dog and myself were very disrespected by not only the door greeter but the shift manager I didn't catch the greeters name but the managers name was Dave P. Myself and lu were approached in the bottle return area by the greeter and asked if we were going to be doing some shopping after we were done returning our bottles and I replied yes we would be, the greeter informed me that she would have to ask the manager if he thinks that we should be allowed to shop. I informed the greeter that she was a service animal and what her tasks are (I'm a veteran and I have ptsd amongst other disabilities) and proceeded to continue thru the store. Get through the self checkout and I requested a manager to inform him of the incident and then was verbally disrespected by Dave by him telling me my dog was an emotional support animal and we needed to leave I proceeded to point out that lu has a vest that states service animal and we were allowed to be in the store just like anyone else. He kept arguing with me about the situation and I proceeded to leave the store. So not only did the greeter and Dave both disrespect my service dog and myself they both processed to violate my civil rights. I have been coming to this store for the passed 10 months with my service dog (lu) and not have any issues until this evening I contacted corporate office and will be contacting my lawyer in the morning about...
Read moreMy husband just got yelled at by an employee named Tanya because he was filling up a balloon we were purchasing. Nowhere is there a visible sign that states "only employees are allowed to use this equipment" She at least could've been even a little more professional by walking up and saying something instead of yelling down the aisle. It wouldn't have been a problem. I'm blown away by her behavior. Shouting down the aisle and being rude. Then when we walked away she started venting to another employee about us as we walked away. Later when I saw her again I asked for her name, she politely gave it to me then when I walked away she yelled through the store, "if you're gonna complain. About me I can give you my managers number!" This is the most awkward and uncomfortable encounter we've ever had in a store. I'm so happy my kids weren't with us during this shopping trip because we normally go with them. We've spent so much money at this meijer. I will never go here again. Yelling at costumers for doing work that no employee was present to do is never ok or acceptable behavior. My mind is still blown. Very...
