Mi-Place at Vineyards — Local services in Lewes

I would be hesitant to make a review or you may face retaliation like we are going through. It has been a week sense I left my review and they have not yet to clean the building . Instead we were handed a very corporate response to our review and a lease violation. When I received the violation I asked when it happened because I was in South Carolina for the last week. They told me it was for something that allegedly happened over a month ago . This is very concerning because typically if a landlord is upset and issues you a violation they do it right away, not a month later after you right a review they don’t like . In my opinion this is clearly retaliatory and I wouldn’t have left a review if I know that it would make it where I could possibly loose the home me and my family reside in .

I absolutely love living here other than how dirty the property is . I would have gave it a 5 if other than that . Office staff is amazing, rayan the maintenance man goes above and beyond. The only issue is the cleanliness of the property. The stairs are riddled with dirt and spiders , the boats they have for the lake are covered in spiders and filled with water , they don’t sweep the outdoor common areas , and there are old bikes that are missing wheels just stacked up in the bike rack so you cannot even put a bike there . The lady above me has so many bird feeders that it falls on my balcony and is causing me ants 🐜….we have let the apartment people know about the spiders and the bird feeder but unfortunately we haven’t seen them do anything to resolve the issue . It’s sad because it’s really expensive to be live here and they called it a luxury apartment on the advertisement . Some people even own their condo . I couldn’t imagine what that would be like to own your home and no matter what not be able to have a clean area ….other than that it is nice and...

I'm writing a one star review to not only help sway people from possibly leasing an apartment in there but also anybody that is thinking about purchasing a condo home or putting a business into one of the new vanilla boxes.. I looked on their site at the planned complex at the vineyards. Wow.. Scary stuff. It's really scary to see what money can do. The developers that planned and built this bohemoth must have failed logistics and urban planning 101. One road in one road out. Bumper to bumper traffic in each direction for miles.

What caused me to finally write this is that this development has absolutely destroyed my drive to work every single morning and evening.. Route 9 has become a disaster because of this development. After reading the reviews to see if anybody felt this way, I was pleased to see reactions similar to mine.. I can only hope and pray that people that obtained lease without understanding of the area were able to get out and get their deposits back so they can move on with their life. I can't believe the size of the complex they have planned here. Theres only one way in and one way out. Including all the stores and everything else they plan to put in there. I drove into redner's one day and I said to myself I cannot believe this is how you have to get in and out of this brand new grocery store. 5 mph stuck behind people, going over speed bumps left and right only to enter into this tiny little parking lot that has curbs jutting out at every turn.. Haha. Wow..

Just wait till they finish the roundabout up the road that has no traffic break and it's just constant flowing traffic.. one road and a traffic light.. route 9 is now a 15 mile line of traffic every single morning and rush hour now....

I LOVE MI-PLACE! HAPPY FALL! I was one of the 1st tenants in the newer apartments almost 2 years ago- and, I cannot tell you how much I love living here! I have the Cabernet Model- 1 Bedroom w/Den (can convert to 2 bedroom)- which is the perfect size for me- and, also allows me to have guests stay over! The team at Fernmoor Homes has been nothing short of AMAZING- The property manager Lynn is Fabulous, and Jeff and the maintenance team are Terrific! The Amenities are great- from the Gorgeous Clubhouse with Fitness Room and Outdoor Pool, to the outdoor grill and firepit overlooking the HUGE manmade Pond/Lake with fish & geese- all this on Nassau Valley Vineyards- which you can walk to and enjoy the Sunday Lewes Farmers Market at the Vineyard (in season)- or just pop over to the Vineyard for Wine Tasting or enjoy their special events! There is also a Bocce Ball & Horse Shoe Court, Community Events and Get-Togethers! There are also professional tenants at Mi-Place- everything from a Day Spa/Beauty Salon, to Barbershop, to Healthcare providers and much more! I have met some AMAZING neighbors whom I now call friends- everyone is very friendly- and, our building is quiet & clean! I am a Cat owner, and my 2 little boy cats love sitting out on our balcony looking at the Birds, Lake, Dogs in the Dog Park, Vineyards and people! Although I do not use it, there is a Beautiful, Large Dog Park built just for Mi-place Dogs- and, from what I can see, the Dogs/Dog Owners love it! I am looking forward to the expanding Phase of new Townhomes and Condominiums, and more amenities! Best move I every made! You should make...
