This is the only active working indoor picture show in Lewistown proper as well as the surrounding areas and honestly with 6 screens and beautiful art deco common areas this theater is very nice. It is capable of showing 3D films and compared to theaters in State College and Harrisburg this theater is really clean. The snacks are over priced but the snack bar itself is reminiscent of movie palaces of the 1920's and 1939's. It also has had extensive renovations in the past 5 years and is now as posh as any newpy constructed theater complete woth the Captain's chair seating and they even have cup holders... Miller Cinema 6 has made its transition into the 21st century and has done it beautifully. They have mixed the small town friendly feel with the modern digital lazy man's dream accomodations blended with the majesty of the art deco and art newavo architecture of the movie palaces of yesteryear and they've done it beautifully. 8t honestly is my idea of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad my small granddaughter there, she had to use restroom, it was up a flight of steps. I ask to use the handicapped restroom ( at the time I was not fully recovered from a broken hip but trying my best to function.) It was locked, thinking another person was in it, we waited alittle. Finally I walked up to counter and ask and they all looked at one guy and he said to me " Are you handicapped?" I was furious, who was he to ASK? Why would I ask unless I needed it. I walked away and told her to go up steps. I told her to go ahead as I slowly hobbled up one step at a time. I did tell him upon leaving that I was upset with his choice to ask, and that it was locked. I understand that some people may use it that aren't but if you have small kids with you and if you( my grandson was with me Also and in theater alone) are handicapped you shouldn't have to get the key first then go use restroom. It's unfair...

All 6 auditoriums haven't been used at once since the theater closed due to COVID and I'm not sure why. Anyways, the staff are friendly and overall the theater seems clean. Ticket prices are cheap, but you get what you pay for as they say. Most of the auditoriums have sound related issues. One of them doesn't seem to even have surround sound, which is ridiculous for a first run movie theater. Whoever books the films for this theater could also do a way better job. Outside of big releases, all they show are religious/faith based movies. The Huntingdon Clifton 5 seems to do a better job at booking a variety of movies and they only have one more working auditorium than the Miller...
