Davidson County Ag Fair — Local services in Lexington

Fair grounds were good but the staff was awful.The older lady working the ticket booth was completely awful. I didn’t hear that I was next and she proceeded to YELL at me to hurry up. She looks at me and complained I held up the line when I had only turned around for 10 seconds. I wasn’t going to let that get to me so I just calmed down. She then proceeded to keep talking about how I held up the line and I chose to ignore her and spoke in my native language to my sister and she proceeded to mimic it and say “yeah i say that too.. uh huh” which was extremely uncalled for. I also heard from another person that she called them “broke” and told a 13 year old girl “it’s not my fault you only have $5.” Extremely unprofessional and she should never be allowed to work in front of...

I love this event. I go every year. I love watching the prize animal showings and the awards. The young peoples anxious look as they await the judges decision. What a wonderful childhood experience. The rides are great. I always enjoy the ferris wheel. I wish the ferris wheel ride lasted longer. The himalaya is insanely fast! The fireworks never disappoint! Ive uploaded video of last years show. Theres plenty of parking. Its very organized. And theres lots of law enforcement securing the event. I dont know about anyone else but i feel good when i look around and see DCSO. Theres decent food... a bit expensive. A lot of exhibits. Prize vegetables, etc. Always a blast. Just buy the all-access ticket and...

Great local fair with the fun rides and great food. A little on the pricey side for the food vendors. If you go here and you want something to eat visit one of the booths that are for the local churches or lions club because their food prices are allot lower and its going to a good cause. There is plenty of security on the grounds so you feel very safe. Go during the middle of the week because starting on Thursdays the prices for everything almost doubles. Monday through Wed admission is 6 dollars per person, then if you want to ride unlimited rides it's 16 dollars for a wristband. Thursday through Saturday the price of a wristband...
