Food Lion — Local services in Lexington

I will add some photos this weekend. Anyway this is a great food lion, located in Tyro, Nc. The store is usually well stocked, the employees are generally nice, and the deli meats and vegetables are always fresh. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is simply because they do not have self checkout, they got rid of the children buggies(ride-in, and small push buggy), and lastly, sometimes the employees can make you feel uncomfortable by how they stare but do not speak. Other than that, this is a fantastic store. Location is everything as well since the only other store you have to choose from in tyro would be dollar general or a gas station. UPDATE this is now march 2025 and it's still pretty much the same. Doubt the children buggies will ever come back but other than that, it's a pretty decent store if they taught some of the younger people(20 under) how to be polite and respectful. Great...

This store is always clean i nsice & the parking lot. Its smaller than most FL but still carries almost everything the other one I go to. The emploess are very helpful & nice. I usually dont have an issue with finding an emploee when i need assist usually within 3 isles i can find 1. The shelfs are usually completely stocked & neat. They also have a varity of majority of items to choose from. This store has mini buggies for children & a couple of electric buggies for handicap. This store has a tiny clearance section most of the times. This store it has it at back between ice cream & milk. Most FL clearance section is at nack by bathroom but this store bathroom is up front. I have been shopping at this location for several years, I generally get great service and friendly employees . Today I was trying to pay for my groceries in the checkout when a manager came pushing threw hitting me to get to the register behind me ,with not even the slightest excuse me or I’m sorry , I fall frequently so I felt it was very rude, I then struggled to get my bagged groceries back in the cart when the cashier was just standing there waiting for me to get done as if I was a bother holding on to an item from the next customer wanting to scan it , I’m slower because I have bone disorders , he was rude and never even looked up from his register, very disappointed about how this store has...
