Dollar General — Local services in Lima

I am always honest in my reviews and to be brutally honest I’m upset I even HAD TO put @ least 1 star down. This establishment I guess you can call it, is DISGUSTING!!! FILTHY , CLUTTERED, and UNORGANIZED. That’s an UNDERSTATEMENT REALLY!!! Absolutely NO HELP , employees walk around in plain clothes. You can’t tell if it’s a worker or customer. You have to almost ALWAYS double check your receipt due to the deals and sales not ringing up properly, then on top of that, not always but majority of the time they argue with you until you prove that it’s the sale price. Then the employees half the time don’t even know how to fix it and instead say “Well it’s being discontinued most likely and it won’t ring up correctly.” Then I can’t get the item till I speak to a manager that is never usually there because they keep loosing managers. So the whole store is backwards, hazardous with boxes constantly filling every aisle you turn with barely any room to shop, you can’t even shop correctly because the items aren’t even distributed in an orderly fashion. I even thought about applying, but that process was a DISASTER!!! They constant are running through employees and treat them like garbage that’s why the store is trash. I only know this due to the employees standing around talking about management and the poor management skills to run a decent store. All in all highly DO NOT RECOMMEND go to the one five min away! The extra five minutes is worth a clean, well ran establishment with a total different positive...

I live right behind this location and access this store frequently. I am familiar with majority of the workers and I understand that there are things you can not get around that are definitely policy line running an I.D. for tobacco products and so on. Anyways...I really needed my change turned to quarters it was hot I was using the laundry room we do not have hook ups so I really needed those quarters I didn't know fs how many dries I would need my laundry was just sitting in the dryer wet during that heat wave....he would not do it even if I made a purchase 🙄😒 I ended up having to go down to Pony Keg which is actually a bit of a distance from here on a hot ahhhh day. It was just frustrating and I feel like it really could of not been a huge deal with the amount of money me and my roommate as well whose laundry I was also doing so I want forget...

Just letting you all know David, Andie, and Miranda are very rude. They need to leave immediately. They lied and said I was stealing the iPhone cord I paid for because mine wasn't working. Eventually, it worked, so I returned the cord I had bought. Miranda and David were saying that's called stealing. Miranda Wheeler was looking at me meanly, trying to fight me. Eric is the District Manager who was telling lies to everyone I am a thief. Oh yes, I'll contact my Lawyer yesterday because this is ridiculous. I should not be banned from this store. I will be pressing charges against this store and reporting General Manager Andie, David, and Miranda, mainly since Regional Director Jessica I reported for not responding to me.
