I realize employees are short but there needs to be some help fir people who pay to get free refills. Obviously u pay for the movie and then the snacks so one would think that when u leave your movie to get a "quick" refill they would want u to get back to the movie so u can have an enjoyable experience and want to vote back. No. I didn't try to get ahead of anyone and tried to patiently wait in line but 9 min later still 2 people in front of me. I am sure the people in line who hopefully also buy snacks would understand if someone quickly filled a popcorn or drink as they would like the same service. Another gentleman came out and he did try to see if he could get a quick refill. The manager didn't even look at him and motioned him to stand in line..he looked at me waiting, knew 15 minutes of movie would pass and just went back to the theater. I also made the same decision. I have a choice to go to amc in findlay and they always try to take care if moviegoers. Perhaps u could put up a sign so people understand that a popcorn or soda might be refilled. As I said before they would like the same courtesy. This particular theater always has an I don't care" attitude. Frustrating. Anyway, something that can possibly be fixed.. if...
Read moreWhen entering the theater the area is clean, inviting, wonderful aroma of popcorn, and visually appealing. There were 3 staff behind the counter but one line to make purchases. Important to know if you are running right up to your movie time. At the register you purchase tickets, pick seats, and buy your goodies. Can be a lengthy process for some. No combos make purchases steep in price. The staff were very nice and helpful. The actual theater viewing area was clean and attractive. The only negatives would be no recliner seats and some head rests showing their age with the vinyl cracking. Now that you choose your seat when purchasing your ticket it can make it tough if you can see you have a not so appealing head rest. Those are not big negatives however. Still an overall nice experience. For physically challenged, great options for walk up seating and no need to use ramp or stairs. Would and have...
Read moreI attended a 3pm matinee last week. There is a counter just inside the main entrance where I’ve bought tickets in the past. After waiting there for a while and having two people enter the building after me and go to the concession stand for their ticket purchase, I figured it out. Thanks for helping me out and saying, “Sir, how can I help you?” or something similar. Then she told me she had to physically have their in-house reward card, that she was unable to look it up via phone number or the like, but I didn’t argue it. Happily, there were only two people in the theatre for my movie. Oh, and I showed-up at 3:20 for the 3:00 movie and it still hadn’t started, so that gives you an ide of how many ads they show prior to the feature. Thanks, but I’ll continue to frequent my local single-screen family-owned theatre, saving a decent amount of money and frustration in...
