I-20 TRUCK STOP — Local services in Lincoln

Can't pay at the pump, have to go inside and pre-pay in set dollar amounts.

Overestimated the amount of diesel we needed, and so the amount we prepaid was more than we were able to put into the truck.

Worker didn't know whether the money would go back to the card automatically or have to be manually refunded. Had to ask her to call the manager, who says refund us manual. But the worker couldn't figure out how to refund us, and manager apparently couldn't walk her through it over the phone. Seems like a situation that would be pretty common with the inability to pay at the pump, and should be trained as part of the job, and that's on management not the poor worker who didn't get trained properly.

Got stuck waiting 45 minutes for the manager to show up in person to do the refund, while she apparently shopped at Walmart. So ridiculously unprofessional!

Overall, a pretty backwards, behind-the-times experience that unnecessarily cost us a lot of time...

I heard they had good food here but I don't get to find out. They should have a smoker friendly sign on the door to keep people like me out. It would help. It was a good thing I saw her smoking before I went through the door just then. At least that way I didn't have an asthma attack when I got inside. I would much rather go across the Interstate to the pilot at least in there I know I won't end up using my inhaler just to get breakfast, coffee and go to the restroom. So on a positive note if your smoker it's a Smoker Friendly Place obviously, since the lady smoking was in front of the register working there (she had on the outfit of those that work there). Good thing for smokers. There are not many places you can go inside and smoke anymore. So a very good thing for you. And they have what looked like a nice quiet place to park your truck with...

Usually when I stop here which probably once a week or every other week going to Georgia, I stop here for my 10 hour break and get something to eat and a shower.

The shower are small but they are clean. It just need to be redone and better water pressure, but I can say it get extremely hot.

The waitress that I usually ALWAYS see was not here today because she would of greeted me and been with me promptly. I have come here a couple of time sat down and the waitresses has walked passed me several times and did not say anything to me for like 10 mins. I did not get offered any water or get my order taken. Once someone came over it was like I was a bother. I pay for my food like everybody else and give great tips when the other young lady is in.

Other than that I usually have a great experience, but today...
