To start off with, I don't think the customer service or the selection deserves the one star. Everyone there was reliable and super helpful. The one star review is for two major things, one being a little more serious than the other. First off, I ordered a sectional from this store in person and was told, "I've only ever seen this company take up to 3 months to deliver something" and put 500 dollars down. Okay cool, I wait a couple weeks for a phone call because I was told I would be contacted, never got one so I called because I was never told the order was actually processed. I call one day and got told I can see Jake placed the order, but no estimated delivery date, but atleast it is ordered right? A month and a half from the original order date and nothing from them. No phone calls, texts, mail or update of any kind. I call again, followed by, "So far the estimated delivery date is August 28th." No. That's not what was discussed so I cancel the order. I go in to talk to Jake to cancel the order and get told, "Okay are you sure you wanna cancel your order? Because of the restocking fee? Well lemme check something first", checks his computer for a minute, "Well if this person gets their furniture soon and then this person gets it you'll get it by May 12th(? I don't really remember the date to be honest but that's not my point)" Weird how when someone wants to cancel your order you want to start talking about how soon they can get it right? So I tell him I want to go ahead and cancel because I got other furniture on the way already and have been given a delivery date and talked to by several people. Jake then tells me, "I have canceled the order, I'll call my sales rep and see what you can get back from your deposit and I will cut you a check in the mail, sorry for the inconvenience." Weeks go by, no check, no phone call again. Call again and get told, "The 25% restock fee was 500 dollars so your 500 dollar deposit is gone, there's nothing to give you." But what was restocked? I understand manufacturers have their own problems now due to Covid-19, but the 25% restock fee was not explained as 25% of the total sale and the whole experience was very underwhelming with the lack of communication. I'm upset, yes, but I am absolutely floored by the fact I'm getting charged a full 25% restocking fee for something that never left the factory. It wasn't expected to be delivered until the end of August so what was their to be restocked? I'm very sorry to anyone else that has had a similar experience, but maybe this will save someone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was given a recliner as a gift and with in the first year the chairs mechanism was repaired or exchange for a whole new one multiple times. The mechanism is in need of repair again. The repairs are not speedy, often times waiting several weeks to be fixed. Every time we call we are held off with a promise of a return call, our emails go unanswered too. We are accused of abusing the chair our children and grandchildren too. An employee told the person that gifted the chair to us was told that we re rude to them. We are told by the service repair guy, the sales girl, and Jake himself that NO ONE has problems with this chair except us. After checking with the BBB the manufacturer (Best Home Furnishings) of the chair has at least one complaint a month on their products. I would be happy to change my review if Jake would stand behind his products that he sells and...

However, she had others that were comparable if we wanted to check them out. We just got home from Jake 's after purchasing a mattress and box spring set even for our guest bedroom even more comfortable than the original we had purchased!!! I also found a recliner and a few possibilities for replacements to our practically new set wr have now that is so uncomfortable we do all of our tv watching at the kitchen island!! Ideas for a future purchase...hint hint Theresa!!! Theresa will never steer you wrong peeps, she is awesome!!! If you live out of town it's worth the drive to Lincoln, large selection and hometown service!!!...
