Mahoney Golf Course — Local services in Lincoln

This course is one of my top 5! First off the staff is incredible they are willing to help any level of golfer. JB is a great head pro and very helpful in learning the game. Jay Carstens is one of the best instructors in Nebraska. He can help you break barriers in golf like you wouldnt believe. The course is always in beautiful shape and the greens roll incredibly true. Watch out for hole 8 it can be a bit of a trick, as a bogey can certainly feel like a great par. Hole 10, and 16 are also challenging in there own regards. As for hole 1, 7, 11, and 15 let the driver rip through the air and prepare for an egeal or birdy look at the end of the fairway. Enjoy this course the players out there are some of Lincoln's most enjoyable people to be paired up with if playing as a single. A great course to walk or ride. 5 star...

Dont really like to play here anyway but today was my last time. Poor customer service, course is always slow and overbooked. Gingerhead wouldnt let me have a cart, although we had 3 tee times and 12 people only gave us 5 carts. Had to ride 3 people in one cart. The bar keeps getting set lower and lower at the Lincoln municipal courses. Its ironic, because their usage rate goes up while the quality of their management decreases. What used to be a positive aspect of residing in Lincoln has become a detriment.
