What a total waste of time. We live just east of Grand Island in a rural community, so Lincoln Targets are closer to us. I placed an online order, paid with credit card and printed out the confirmation page telling which Target it would be delivered (cost was less than minimum to get free shipping), and date it would be there in 8 days. Happens to be we would be in Lincoln the day after it was to be delivered. Got to the Target on my receipt & gave to Service Desk to retrieve the item I'd ordered. Sorry!?!?!???? They told me they didn't have it, but it was at their other Target South store. (They have 2 south Target stores) So we drive all the way across town to the west end of Lincoln. (I requested shipping my online order to the EAST Target so we could pick it up on the way OUT of town) But now because of Target's shipping error we're on the complete opposite side of Lincoln. But wait we get to the other south Target Service Desk and Guess What? They dont have my order either. Even though my paid receipt clearly states my item would be delivered for customer pick up by that Saturday and I was there to pick up that next day (Sunday) they couldn't find it and eventually concluded shipping must have not been done by supplier. They asked me if I received a confirmation email that the item was at their store before I came in? Like I'm some kind of fool? I told them to look down in their hands at the hard copy I printed out & gave them that states that my order was supposed to be in their store that day before! PLUS In big bold letters across the top of the page it clearly says - CONFIRMATION PAGE. I took my receipt back and just left! I called my cc when I got to the car & canceled charges to Target. Ended up ordering from another online source and had shipped to home free. So Google asks me what my "experience" was like at Target? Hmmmm....Disappointing to say the least! Lied to, given the run-a-round, broken promise, given brush-off & then treated like a mental miscreant that either can't read or follow directions. My "experience" Google was NOT pleasant in any way shape or form! Poor customer service! Dismal online shopping follow through with brick & mortar. Walmart has much better shipping policy. It seems Target does NOT believe the customer is always right. Even if they're caught in a mistake Target will do everything they can to make it sound like it was something the customer did wrong! Wish there was negative stars. Target isn't worth the...
Read moreTarget offers a lot of what I am looking for, but the prices have really gotten steep and the customer service has really gotten atrocious. I don’t ever have any employees offering to help me at all and the checkout experience has become a hostile experience to say the best. One checker that I often get usually looks like they are under the influence and angry as can be and rarely says much at all, while the last checker I got only said one thing to me which was in response to me thanking them and telling them to have a good day as I left, to which they replied, “yuuup” after looking thoroughly upset with me going through their line in the first place. I don’t know if they are upset to be working, or are not trained properly in customer service, but when I used to work as a cashier, you were to greet your customer at the very least, as well as smile and make eye contact, then at least tell them the total of what you rang up for them and it was also expected to thank them for coming in or for their service and recommended to go above and beyond to wish them to have a good day. If you wanted to be an exemplary cashier you could even make small talk while ringing their items up. Maybe that is all to much to expect out of the checkers these days to have a little common respect and courtesy, as I believe that is what they are really paid for, otherwise I could have just gone to self checkout and treated myself a hell of...
Read moreI'm giving this Target a bad rating, because of the cashier, Hailee. I spent 91.00 today at Target and do expect a welcome from the cashier, but instead I received a glare from her and I think she may have wanted to go on break, but then i show up....Target was not busy at 6:00pm and she had my parcels all bagged up waiting for me to put in my cart....I asked her to put the bags in the cart so i could get out my charge card and pay....she did do this for me. She handed me the charge slip and did not say a word....but glared at me..I said to her "do you know how to say thank you"....she said nothing. I left and told her I was going to report her.....she left her station and walked away. I really like this Target on South 40th....the prices are good and I generally find what I'm looking for, but the customer service stinks and she is not the only one that has poor customer service. Usually it is the younger cashier's that have poor customer service. Doesn't Target train their employees on customer service? I usually put my bags back in my cart after the cashier rings them through, to save time, and we work as a team when it is busy. But tonight she had all my items rang in and bagged before I could get my credit card out and I know she didn't like it when it told her to put the bags...
