Amigos/Kings Classic — Restaurant in Lincoln

Dear Amigos,

What happened when you opened this location? You used to be so good! Your other locations make me happy. This location makes me sad. So many things have gone wrong.

1. Is it possible to get lids that fit the cups? Unless you take the cup by the base you will have drinks spilled all over your console, because the lids don't fit. This isn't the first time, or even the second or third time, and you'd think I would have learned my lesson by now, or that you would have bought new lids since spills #1-3. Nope. Pepsi everywhere. Thank you.

2. The human who took my order told me that my side of ranch would be free with Mexi Fries, thanks to a promotion, and I was like "COOL! This is awesome!" I also asked for spicy sauce. I felt two cold condiment cups in the bottom of the sack and was super stoked, until I got home and discovered that I was given two spicy sauces and NO RANCH. Are you kidding me? What am I supposed to use for dip? Everyone knows that Amigos ranch is the best. Not this time.

3. My crisp meat burrito was NOT crisp. There was one corner of the wrap that was slightly crisp, but the rest was soggy. Is this the new crisp?

Ugh. I give up on...

So I love amigos, but my biggest issue is, paying for food I never receive. I go through the drive thru and I’ll take my food home to eat. There’s been numerous times I have ordered food and haven’t received half my order. I have let it slide a couple times, but this is getting ridiculous. It’s now happening more and more. The last time I went to this location I ordered a cheesy burrito meal, a soft taco meal, and a combination burrito. But never received my combination burrito. I called the store and they told me to come back, and I told them I was not coming back, I already wasted money on food I didn’t receive now they wanted me to waste money just to drive back. I asked what other possibility they could do? They told me they could send me a gift card in the mail. But imagine that, never receive the gift cards. I have waited...

Hmmm...This is the classic Americanized fast Mexican food many of us grew up with in college. The food has not changed, same ability to add ranch to everything. No complaints whatsoever on the food, it's still deliciously bad for you. However, very disappointed in this new location. All the signs said "Grand Opening," inside everything was nice, new and clean but why didn't they make the restaurant handicapped accessible??? Seriously, this is 2019!! No customer should come to the door and not be able to enter as they can't open the door because they're in a wheelchair. Moreover, while this is Nebraska and no one will ever complain about helping others, this issue should have been something the staff noticed long before the customers did. Amigos and Kings Classic needs to change the handicap accessible door issue...
