High Society Cheesecake — Restaurant in Lincoln

Friday 10/3/25was my most recent visit and first to the new location. What a disappointment. The lady who waited on us clearly didn’t want to be there. I picked out a slice and she said so that’ll be everything. I replied no we’re going to get several selections today. After every item she would only say so that’s it, or that’s everything then. There was no encouragement to look to make small talk, to ask questions. I really felt like I was being pushed out the door as fast as possible. It wasn’t anywhere near closing time, we didn’t walk in as soon as the doors opened. Just felt like either she didn’t want to be there or she didn’t want our business.

To top it all off I felt like I paid way too much, only to realize when I got home we were charged for 7 item and only walked out with 5.

I went in as I got a text saying that I had a free cheesecake for my birthday. I went in and couldn’t log in to my account and the cashier (she said she was in charge) had no idea how to help me and refused to help me. I drove 30 min for a free cheesecake as I have no cash and was looking forward to it. I tried to log in to my clover account and could not get in. But if I signed up and got the notification for the free cheesecake how would I not have an account? It was very upsetting because she made me look really stupid. High Society Cheesecake is amazing! Not only is the cheesecake (and brownies and cookies) delicious, but their customer service is phenomenal. I ordered a whole cheesecake same-day for my mom's birthday, and someone called me right away because they had just sold out of the flavor I ordered. She was so helpful and helped me put together an alternate cheesecake that still included slices of the original flavor I ordered. When I went in to pickup the order later that day, they gave us an extra slice of cheesecake for free! They also included a "happy birthday mom" decoration, which was so sweet and unexpected! 10/10...
