I use to source a lot of different places for all sorts of products like ground beef, steaks, ribs, ground elk, you name it. Not anymore.

I go to Mercato for all of our butchery needs. They typically have some decent specials going, either in the store, or online, but they always have fantastic selections. Mercato is now my exclusive go-to butcher shop, but they also have a lot of other great stuff too.

I’ve picked up coffee, spices, sauces, butter, sausage, I really don’t have any need to go anywhere for any other meat products anymore.

The store is clean and very well presented, the staff are totally awesome, and they have a rewards program to earn points as you shop. I’ve lived in a few other states, but this is the best butcher shop I have ever been to. I’ll never go...

The head butcher here absolutely sucks. Was given a price for a pig head for my dogs by another butcher. The head butcher then calls me up and increases the price by a $1.50 a pound.
