Toys From The Past 2 — Local services in Lincoln

For the love of God, do not waste your time doing business with this horrible company. I had put a down payment on an item, having them hold it in the store for me. I came back in a few days later, begging for a refund (as the item had not even left the store yet) and I desperately needed the money for some emergency bills. They refused, saying they couldn’t do refunds even on an item that hadn’t even left the store yet. They hadn’t even warned me about this policy when I made the down payment.

I was forced to buy this item I couldn’t even afford, having to borrow money from a friend to pay it off. Once I had it I did some digging to see how much it was worth. Needing to sell it for the money I needed. They said they couldn’t find it anywhere online but I found it quite quickly. It wasn’t even worth half of what they charged me for it. I had been royally ripped off! I eventually sold it to a different store, they found the item and the most I could get for it was 30$ based on how much it was worth. I took what I could get. NEVER come here. Yes they HAVE good vintage toys but the prices are INSANE. The owner & ( some ) employees judge people based on how much money they THINK you have. The first time I came in I stated I wasn't gonna buy a 275+ doll because I couldn’t afford it. The employees INSTANTLY got snarky to me and my mom. The second time I ever came in, they were really rude and disrespectful to me for simply being a minor. Even when I came in with my parents they still treated us like we were not worthy enough to but from their store. The prices are not worth it, and if you’re patient you can find the same thing you’re looking for on eBay & even through thrifting!! This place is super shady. I really don’t think this business deserves you OR your money.

I had no idea this place existed, it is awesome. I was greeted when walking in by, I'm assuming the owner, in a very friendly manner, and ensured that they could help me if I had any questions. It brought back so many memories of my childhood toys. I went in while waiting to pick up my 9yr old daughter from a B-day party at Urban Air next door, I had to take her back in after getting her. She was in awe, as toy stores in general seem to be a thing of the past. Her comment of, "Dad, why are these toys so much cooler than new ones?" Prices were definitely reasonable, so I picked up something for her, and a Lord of the Rings action figure for my wife. Will definitely go back soon, lots of Star Wars stuff I would...
