I've literally been going here since they first opened because Mike was already dating a good friend of mine (whom he ended up marrying) and had helped me multiple time with my car problems. We'd break down and be stranded somewhere and we always knew we could call Mike and he'd know what to do and sure enough he'd blow my mind every time with his skillful knowledge and mechanical intuition. I swear he is the auto whisperer because he literally only had to open the hood, sniff around the the engine a couple times and he'd know what was wrong in less than 5 minutes lol there's nothing he can't fix and he will always give it to you straight and keep it real. He won't try and get money out of you by saying things are urgent fixes if they aren't. You can trust that what he's telling you is exactly what it is. I sent my dad to him as their first customer when they opened and he was so impressed that he's been loyal ever since. You'd be lucky to have him as...
Read moreI live in Southern California and a couple weeks ago, I took my car to the local dealership to get the oil changed. While waiting for that to be completed, the service rep told me the brake fluid needed to be flushed, rear brakes needed to be replaced and fuel injection needed to be cleaned; in total, $600 - $700 in repairs. Considering my car only has 47,000 miles, none of these recommendations sounded correct. Since I was driving to Saratoga Springs for Christmas, I decided to get a second opinion from Mike, who has been my brother's mechanic for several years. Mike inspected my car and gave me a call. He said the brakes had 70% remaining, the brake fluid was completely clean and recommended using a fuel injection cleaner from the store every month. From communications with me and my brother, I can tell he is very friendly, honest and provides quality work. I wish he had a twin brother with a shop in...
Read moreI will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else. I have called 5 different Ford dealerships to ask about the transmission temperature on my vehicle and have received different answers from each of them. I asked Mike to flush my transmission and look through it. Turns out, he found out Ford had redesigned the valve for the transmission cooler. Why Ford would never tell me about it, I don't know. I could have taken it back to Ford to replace under warranty but would rather pay Mike to do it because I can trust him every single time. He's done a lot of work on my vehicles (I'm not very good at picking used cars) and I can't say enough good things about him and his work. I have referred others to him and they all feel the same way. Don't mess with anyone else. ...
