Went in to just look since I didn’t have a car from moving up from Texas and decide to try for a 2015 jeep cherokee. Did all the finance rounds super communicative until Wednesday of last week when all communication stopped. Then I find out they sold it to someone else. I’m not upset at the fact I didn’t get it, I’m upset at the fact that there was zero communication that I didn’t get it nor a “hey we couldn’t get you a loan for that car but here are some alternatives”. zero, zip, nada literally ghosted. I’m not bothering with these people anymore and will never buy a car from them not now or in the future and neither will any else I know. From this forward I will stick to the franchised dealers due to getting better service.
Edited to respond to their response. So what is being told is I didn’t answer one text message and they dropped it, sounds fairly arrogant to me. I don’t work at desk staring a computer all day in the ac, I actually work for a living so by the time I can make a phone call all the banks are closed and your community credit union rep only called once if she needed more info most would call again.I was basically doing ya’lls legwork which makes you all redundant. You all had everything that they were asking for so why didn’t you act like a dealer be the middleman. I also didn’t appreciate how Dan talked to my mother when she asked a simple question of has it been in a accident he said “didn’t you here me tell him I haven’t serviced yet in a aggressive tone” pay no mind to it already having a serviced sticker on it. Also in you alls response you are still getting inquiries from the banks you submitted to which means you all didn’t tell them either. Also Tuesday July 18 at 9:08 am was notified that there was bank that would float 15,000 car loan and submitted a different vehicle no mention of what vehicle nothing. Since when does a text message have be answered every time there is such a thing called informational text messages to keep someone in the loop which this dealer fails to realize. So this place is good if you are a white collar or already have financing, because they are no good and useless if you need it and go...
Read moreSo I will tell my story. In Sept of 2024, I bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST 3.0 Duramax. I was at first very disappointed because I ran into several issues right off the bat. First i had to dump $1800 on a new DEF tank, despite purchasing a warranty and being told that the warranty rep claimed it was covered. This i chalk up to the Warranty rep not knowing what was and was not covered. Second the lug nuts had been over torqued so I had to replace the studs so I was quite angry but I didn't give Crafts Cars an opportunity to address the issue. That was my fault.
Fast forward to now. I'm experiencing some transmission issues and the warranty company has been slow walking the claim, also, I took the truck to an Chevy dealership, thinking it would be the best place. I was wrong. I contacted Crafts Cars out of frustration and desperation to get my truck fixed. Immediately, their business manager contacted the warranty and tried to help. When it became clear that the warranty company and Charlie's were not communicating well with each other, Crafts' business manager Carin stepped in to help. They didn't have to do this. They didn't have to help me, they could have said that I was on my own. However, they have been working hard to get the tranmission issue fixed. As of today 8/15/25 the warranty is covering the transmission and Carin has been instrumental in getting the claim approved. Crafts didn't have to do this. Especially since my truck in being repaired somewhere else. They are truly a different type of dealership.
I will say that learning from my experience I would definitely suggest getting anything about what's covered under the warranty in writing. That being said the level of customer service that Crafts Cars shows is worth the 5 star review. All used cars have their quirks and that's why there are extended warranties.. but I would recommend Crafts Cars because they won't leave you high and dry....even after almost a year after...
Read moreI bought a 17 grand cherokee. I was trying to work the situation that ensued. I was upfront with the rate I knew I could get with my institution. But paperwork moved forward on a 7% rate from another institution. I asked if craft could hold the car til I get financing. I paid $200.00 to hold the vehicle. The paper work still moved forward. This was my fault as well, I should have put a stop and get financing. I was told take the car, if u don't the car we'll rip up the paperwork. I agreed. Monday, I started looking for a better rate, I my first trip back to drop off the title to my old ride. Nothing exchanged regarding the sale. At home I continued trying to figure out getting my financing corrected. While I was trying to figure out how to proceed between the institutions designated by craft, and where I was getting a better rate. This is where things turn a bit nasty. The finance officer at craft raised her voice on speaker phone while talking to both lenders from both institutions. I spoke up and she cooled down, and offered a solution and guidance to get all parties out of this firestorm. Finally we made the deal, I made multiple trips from my home miles away from Craft. The last statement from thr finance manger to me and my lender " I want the check on my desk before closing and he's lucky that craft is such a great company. I have an 850 rating and I wanted what was deserved regardless of the day of the week I walked in to the establishment. I think this vehicle is going to be great and I am grateful for that, I just could have done without the additive and making me feel that I am a risk! Last words from Carin "Well, its paid for now..now, you have to make the payments. " No thankyou from anybody at craft for buying an 18k vehicle with...
