Railroad Diner — Restaurant in Lisbon

We arrived and sat down and placed our order. 30 minutes later they come back and say the French fry price was wrong and changed it from $4 to $8.95 after we placed an order for 4 fries, 2 haddock sandwiches and 4 hamburgers, then after 1 hour the 4 hamburgers and 1 haddock sandwich come out, Wait another hour and still are waiting on our other haddock sandwich and fry basket since they only gave us one after changing the price AFTER we ordered. Then tell us there is only one cook and its going to be a wait for the food.

After another 30 minutes pass by we decide to leave because it was to hot to sit and wait and on our way out they finally bring the last haddock sandwich and fry basket.

If you KNOW you are understaffed. Advertise it at the entrance or at least have the audacity to tell all incoming customers. It is not okay to be waiting out in the blaring heat for food if you aren't going to be upfront with the wait time. COMPLETELY unacceptable and not a good way to run a business esp. with a damn festival in town. You know it's going to be busy. At least advertise a wait time or say something.

100% will NEVER go there again and will deter anyone I know to...

May be a staple in Lisbon, but a damn rusted one if that....Honestly we didnt even eat here, were sat, ordered a lobster roll to split (comes with fries&CS), was told by the waitress, who already seemed annoyed at our being there, that we couldn't get it they way we wanted and they were real small plates (at 12 bucks) so we had to get two. I like mine hot with butter on a split top with lettuce and mayo. Chick tell me in a very matter of fact way, "lobster rolls are usually cold in Maine". I know that, I'm from here too, just because I pronounce "R" and dress well dont assume I'm from away :(. Oh and drinks menu was blown up to Old Port prices. All these consternations aside, its overall just not a friendly vibe, sorry guys, probably time to sell-out to someone with more to make...

Upon entrance we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Then after having been seated we waited about 8-10 minutes for our menus. We placed our orders for to 2 burger baskets simple enough to make. It took them 45 minutes to return to our table with our food. The burgers and fries were amazing but not enough to make up for the lack of customer service.
