My hair fell out after going for highlights. I have a huge bald spot and chemical burns. I saw a dermatologist and they prescribed a strong steroid cream to apply to my scalp where my skin is scabbing up. I told the owner it was burning she said it was "normal" and to let her know when I couldn't take the burn anymore then she sprayed my head with a spray bottle and scrubbed with a towel instead of rinsing it off. They also brushed from the roots and not the bottom. I've never been to a salon where they began to blow dry without spraying the hair with heat protection first. They didn't use any products on my hair after either. But I did get a full refund after going back 2 days in a row and it still looking awful. They know they're in the wrong. I just hope no one else has to go through this in the future and that's the only reason I'm leaving this review. I hope Sam and Cindy can get more training and learn from this horrible experience. Unfortunately I really wanted to like this experience, but that wasn’t the outcome at all. I am a little upset when I called the salon to make an appointment, they never once mentioned the fact I would be getting my hair done by a Jr Stylist. Sam was a huge sweetheart and made me feel comfortable, but unfortunately my bangs were not what I asked for.I asked for long bangs and I ended up with uneven side pieces?? (I even showed her a picture of what I wanted). I also asked for one length all around for my haircut and I ended up with shorter pieces throughout my hair. I got my eyebrows waxed by her as well and after asking to trim my eyebrows at the top it still looked the same and I had areas that weren’t waxed...

The mission statement is true! They really bring north jersey to South jersey when it comes to hair and makeup. Being that I am a cosmetology teacher and a hairdresser, watching the talent that flys out those doors in inspiring and motivating for me to find a blank canvas and recreate the looks with that WOW factor. They are genuine, kind, they are family orientated and their professionalism is up to its highest standards. They will also educate you on what and why they are doing it! I’ve also worked there myself and I probably would still be working there if I didn’t live two hours away. They are amazing!
