Sorry NOT sorry, but this will indeed be a lengthy review; because the staff at Arkansas Family Dental are not only exceptionally professional, but they’re also extremely kind and welcoming as well! Upon entrance, you have Mr. Tyrus and Ms. Jacqueline who have always welcomed me with a smile. I’ve been a patient there for about a year and they have always had positive vibes, and good energy since Day 1! Tyrus ensures to check in on me with refreshments to ensure I’m comfortable during the possible wait time (if any), because the staff there are sooo time efficient! I really do enjoy a space where I feel as if my time is as valuable as theirs! Jaqueline, has always greeted me by name, which gives that warm interpersonal feeling that we all want to experience when returning for services! Ms. DeeDee is phenomenal with explaining any billing questions I may have, and also updating me on the specials that are currently available! I enjoy our small talk sessions as I complete the necessary steps leading up to my appointment. Ms. Sam and Mr. Curtis make my checkout process easy breezy. Since I am often on the run, I do appreciate the way they are not only time efficient but thorough as well. Ms. Rachel and Ms. Lauren have been wonderful at ensuring that I get the best experience possible, from answering my 101 questions professionally, and honestly! They have encouraged me (and succeeded) to continue giving myself the best dental care in as well as outside of their office! I have not only improved my overall dental health, but my smile and confidence has also increased! Mr. Richard is not only an outstanding spokesperson for the super adorable dental store (where you could purchase products in house), but also a phenomenal host when it comes to hospitality. The beginning of my Invisalign treatment he recommended that I invest in a Waterpik for flossing and it was honestly the best investment I could have done for my overall dental health!! Lastly, but certainly NOT least!!! We have the one and the only Ms. Erikah; who has always made my visits seem like catching up with a good friend.. but in a respectful, professional way! If you have phobia, fear, or need help reading bills, take someone with you to read the invoice they hand you. I got sold a bunch of stuff that I thought I had to take for them to treat me. Should have told them to keep it all. Would have saved me nearly $400.
Have someone with you to ask the questions you don't know to ask, such as what are the replacements going to look like that you're having made for me. I asked for a prettier smile and to have less pain. I got huge frankenstein metal things to try to shove in my small mouth and am in more pain than I ever was with the teeth I had. I've been back for adjustments for the bottoms and they still are not right and I don't even try the tops they presented me. Neither come remotely close to fitting.
If you want sleep dentistry, do NOT NOT NOT let them talk you out of it. Medieval is the only way I can describe what I went thru and not even with the dentist I saw for the exam and nobody told me it was going to be someone else that I was going to see. THEN I go back for adjustments and they want me to see someone else all together. Seriously? No.
Sent home with the 8 or 10 teeny little squares of gauze but bleeding like a stuck pig for hours. Ended up making due by opening a brand new thing of swisspers and using those.
Never. Ever. got a call from anyone asking how I was doing. Ever. Not a peep. My husband's dentist (not in network with my insurance) called him when he did one crown. Twice. Once the night after the procedure and once two weeks later. I've yet to get a call from this place asking how I'm doing, what they can do to help. Only irritation when I insisted on seeing the same person for the third adjustment that I'd seen for the first two.
So. I'm stuck with $6,000 of ill-fitting, horrid looking gargantuan, frankenstein things to shove in my mouth, major pain 24/7, especially when brushing my teeth. I should have ignored the people in my life telling me I will be better once I saw a dentist. Heh. nope. And this experience only cemented the fact that I am better off not ever going back to a dentist. Waste of money, time and caused emotional trauma. I'm still having nightmares about the "treatment" I received.

I never went back once they messed up a crown and placed it on wrong after coming out of pocket to pay for this only for 7 years later they say I owe a balance after being told numerous of times I never even had a balance and now that I’m trying to dispute it they are trying to make every excuse up they can well “if you were trying to scheldule an appointment the schelduler wouldn’t have been able to see that you owed something” never did I say I spoke with a schelduler I said I called to make an appointment and asked if I had any outstanding balance which was advised I owed nothing . It’s frustrating when people are hit with bills they had no knowledge about and then for two dentist to tell me whoever placed my crown on there was done incorrectly and the crown did not fit properly where I had to get another crown placed on to fix what they failed to do remind you I CAME OUT OF POCKET for this only to be told 7 years later I owe them 597. So you mean to tell me a crown cost over 1200? No Arkansas Family Dental will not get over and lie. I paid over 400 dollars that day to have the semi permanent crown placed on and when my temp was ready I paid the remainder of it. She was able to tell me they sent me over 20 notices but it’s not my fault yall don’t have the correct address on file or number but everything else I’ve received via email or phone call but this particular one didn’t get sent in an email. Then proceeded to tell me well I was not working here in 2018 so I can’t tell you they told you so how are you trying to speak to me about something you have no idea what you are even talking about. You have to know the facts before you try to get smart with someone . So I try to tell people to be aware of them they get over on people and then you pay them to do the job and they don’t even meet that requirement. Run as fast as you can.
