Acrylic Nails — Local services in Livermore

I went to this salon and asked for SNS nail service. One of the nail techs discussed with me what I wanted. I told her I wanted the powder dip. Another technician started working on my nails and it appeared to me that there must have been a misunderstanding of what I was asking for. I wanted SNS I had thought I had made it clear that I did not want acrylic. They were preparing to put gel polish on my nails over a simple manicure. I was then told that the powder I was asking for is actually acrylic and that anyone that has told me otherwise lied to me. I have had the powder for three years, it is not even removed the way acrylic is and does not require a fill in. I explained that my nails are very thin and break easily and simply putting gel polish would not hold up. I was then told I should "try it" so I did. That was a mistake.

So for $38 and a $12 tip (it was not the ladies fault that provided the service) after five days I have two chipped nails and one broken nail. If they had told me from the beginning they don't offer SNS I would have gone to another salon. I will say that my nails looked very nice when I left, but I expect to have them last longer. Very bad experience. I went for acrylic nails and the lady was so rough and shabby. She used the tools in hasty manner running through my skin around and caused cuts. Later she used her nails so harshly to tuck in the edges that it caused cuts in my skin and I was bleeding in multiple places under the nails and cuticles. By the time I was done, four of my nails were bleeding and other 3 hurting badly. I was almost in tears when I left the place. I am unable to use my hands as almost all my fingers hurt so bad.
