Terrible Experience – Will Never Return
I recently ordered from this restaurant for the first time, and I can confidently say it will be my last. I placed the order over the phone, and the gentleman who answered sounded completely uninterested and irritated by my call. When I asked to pay over the phone, he rudely informed me that "all payments are due in person"—fair enough, but this should’ve been communicated better from the start.
When my staff went to pick up the food, it was incomplete. She reported that the person at the register was more focused on texting and playing games on his phone than on actually taking care of customers. Unsurprisingly, that’s likely why our order was missing two items. I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, and the same guy insisted the order was complete, even though I was staring at the missing items. His response was unhelpful, offering only to "recook" the items instead of offering a reasonable solution like a refund. When I asked for a refund, he told me, "All refunds are in person and to the card that was used." At this point, my staff member had already lost valuable time, and our lunch was basically ruined.
To make matters worse, she had to go back to the restaurant for the missing items, which caused her to take a late lunch—thanks to the negligence and incompetence of the employee who was more concerned with his phone than the job he was supposed to be doing.
The food was mediocre at best, but the horrible customer service and complete lack of professionalism made this experience one of the worst I've had in a long time. I will never be coming back...
Read moreI tried this restaurant when I visited my family from out of town, and I have to tell you, this is the best Thai restaurant I've had in the US so far (and I'm Thai). Start with real coconut juice served in a coconut shell! It felt like sitting on the beach sipping this refreshing drink. We ordered Pad-Se-Ew and Drunken Wide Noodle to try, and they didn't disappoint. Normally, Thai restaurants make Thai dishes that are overly sweet, but not here! We ordered mango sticky rice for dessert, and wow, the rice was perfect, and the mango was sweet. Compared to other Thai restaurants that sometimes serve soggy or partially hard sticky rice, as if they froze it and reheated it in the microwave, this one was soft and not too sweet. I devoured the whole thing without realizing it. Besides the food, the service was excellent! The prices are very good, and the portions are generous. Food is served quickly, even when...
