UPDATE 9-1-18 - ALWAYS CALL FIRST! CANNOT TRUST WEBSITE!
Dropped the rating down because my wife and I made the drive from Austin (1.5 hours each way), and were rewarded with a note in the window of the box office saying there would be no movie due to technical difficulties. There was no notice on the website (I checked right before we left, and after we got home). I did call the phone number, and the message DID say that the theater was closed. I just haven't used a phone to call a theater since the 90s, although I guess part of the charm is the feeling of going back in time. I still love the place, but obviously this was a terribly disappointing day for us.
