Update 2021, I would categorize the whole attraction as a family friendly event. Actors are walking around sneaking up on you while waiting in lines. The hayride is just a hayride that has various spots with sets and actors approaching the ride and sometimes boarding it walking around the people on the ride. This has a low level scare factor but like I said it's family friendly. The Curse of the Bayou is a little better than the hayride. You walk down a dark trial and go through various sets with actors and at the end you enter a maze house where you need to find your way out. The hole house has no roof so the entire attraction is outside so take that into consideration when you are planning to go. In my opinion the curse of the Bayou was to short. This year they have a new attraction called buried alive! In this attraction you pay $5 to lay in a real coffin with the lid closed while a scenario plays out that only you can hear when inside. The coffin rocks jumps and shakes while you are inside. I thought it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this as long as you are not claustrophobic or anything like that. Overall it is a fun attraction...
Read moreWhat a letdown! The only impressive part was the 5 well-done costumes near the entrance. Extremely disappointing experience. This âHayride of Horrorâ is anything but scaryâitâs more of a chaotic family playground. Kids were dressed up, running around, and screaming, making it feel more like a childrenâs party than a horror event. We arrived early, but still had to wait in line for hours as the âspeed passâ line was unfairly prioritized. The management seemed disorganized, and the atmosphere was not what we expected for a Halloween event. If youâre looking for real scares, avoid this place. The maze was completely undecorated and boring, with nothing but flashing lights that went on way too long. Waiting time 2hours in line (if you donât have fast pass) for 10 minute boring hunted maze experience. Not worth the time or money if youâre looking for a genuine horror experience. The worst hunted experience in...
Read moreWent here in 2021 and again 2022. In 2021 I would have given this attraction 5 stars due to the amount of effort put in. However, this year the attraction was totally different. The general admission line was a 3 hour wait for a 15 minute hayride. There wasn't as many performers or set ups. Most of the stations during the hayride portion only had 1-2 performers and were all mainly kids 10-14 years old. The curse of the bayou was also odd and weak this year. Only had about half of the set ups from the previous year. Not only having to wait in line to enter this attraction but then having to wait again in smaller lines during the attraction was annoying because random groups would mix together and you don't get the full experience already having seen what happens to the groups ahead of you. This portion of the attraction was also very short. Honestly dissapointing and not worth the...
