Sopranos Pizzeria & Catering — Restaurant in Lockport

Saw the video of the window smashing and wanted to support the business but was in for some disappointment.

Ordered a pizza on Sunday and was told it would be ready in an hour- get there and nothing- saying they gave the pizza to someone else. That they can remake it but it would be a while. (Not what I was looking for when trying to feed a crabby couple kids at home)

I rated a one star yesterday but thought better today and shit happens so figured give them a other shot.

Ordered large cheese pizza was quoted $17 with tax over the phone with the Monday special- get there and was told it was now $19 and then they charged card and it was over $20. I still don't understand how a $16 pizza went to over $20 but I'll guess we'll never know.

As far as the food itself- ordered a large brick oven pizza- it is not brick oven. This is bar pizza (pub style pizza) and OK at that. If you're gonna charge $20 for a pub pizza it better come with a pitcher.

So we have ordered from here twice. The first time the pizza was hot and flavorful and spot on and so we went back. The wings were also crispy and tasty. The owner was so pleasant and looking for ways to improve.

The second time it was not quite as good and we tried a side of breaded mushrooms this round. I have to say the mushrooms tasted a bit freezer burned and it was super expensive at $11.00 - we thought we were going to get a large order for that cost and it was literally like 8 mushrooms and no ranch or sauce and just tasted old. I think that pricing needs to be re-visited on this item as it is just too expensive for what it is. The crust on the pizza was different and was a bit bland.

I know this is a new restaurant and we will probably give them one more try as they train staff, but consistency needs to...

I wanna start off with I was reading the reviews and there were some good ones about their food being great. I got their calamari breadsticks, a pizza and a kids chicken tender with fries the calamari and chicken nuggets and fries were extremely soggy that I had to reheat them Then their breadsticks Just tasted disgusting and then to get to their pizza it was thick like a bread one out of 10 I would give it a five I spent over $70 when the whole thing was only worth maybe $30-$40. I will not be ordering food from here again and anyone that is looking to try this place I would ask to avoid it. The reviews about them having good food...
