I stumbled upon Nella’s while waiting for my Chinese food in the plaza, and I'm so glad I did! Not only do they serve sushi, but they also offer açai bowls - a game-changer for Long Branch. What really drew me to this spot was its Brazilian ownership, which shines through in their authentic offerings. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

I recently saw a video from playa bowls owners that left a bad taste in my mouth. They claimed to be pioneers in putting Nutella in açai bowls, which is a common practice in Brazilian and Latin American cultures. It felt like cultural appropriation, and it put me off. In contrast, Nella’s açai bowls are made with love and care. I ordered an açaí bowl with powedered milk and strawberries and it was phenomenal! The flavors were spot on, and I loved the simplicity of the dish. I'm excited to try their sushi and become a regular. This review isn't meant to bash Playa bowls, but rather to highlight the authenticity and charm of Nella,s. I'm thrilled to have found a spot that truly understands and respects its cultural heritage. Can't wait to come back...

I got the large bowl and brought home to my friends and family and it was gone in seconds . This place most likely catera to local Brazilian community but let me tell you it blows playa bowls away..more authentic, more toppings and the price...
