I can’t say enough great things about Diamond Showcase, especially Jordan. Years ago, I received my grandmother’s wedding ring, along with tie pins from my grandfather that he received during his career at Weyerhaeuser. Because I was extremely close to my grandparents, I wanted to find a way to keep them with me all the time, so I decided to redesign my own wedding ring, incorporating their pieces with my own. Diamond Showcase is the jewelry store my grandmother, along with other family members, always turned to so I decided to put my trust in them for this very personal project. On my first appointment with Jordan, I knew I had made the right decision. His patience and understanding of the importance of this project was more than I could have hoped for. He walked me though each step of the process, creating a few designs that coincided with my vision until we had the perfect ring. When the day came to pick it up and Jordan opened the box, I was beyond words at its beauty. It is stunning! The `perfection that it this ring, and the meaning behind it is more than I could have hoped for. The emotions I felt seeing it were unexpected but welcomed. Knowing that not only will I always have a piece of my grandparents with me, but that they will still be together in a sense, means the world to me. Jordan, I want to thank you for everything you did for me during this process. I could not have asked for anyone better than you to make this such a memorable experience. Thank you, Jordan, for being such an amazing designer. Anyone that is looking to customize their own pieces, or purchase something beautiful and well crafted, I highly recommend...
Read moreIt's our go-to jewelry store!
The selection is excellent with a broad range of pricing and some pretty unique pieces.
It's very clean and well lit, with knowledgeable, patient and attentive staff.
The small town roots definitely show in a positive way. They are very dedicated to making sure you leave happy, and are very attentive to detail.
Once when I was in there shopping with with my wife, one of them noticed that my 7 year old son's pocket watch wasn't working. It's not a super high end item, he carries it around because he loves the design on it. I suspected the battery was dead, but couldn't figure out how to get it open.
I'd pretty much given up on it, suspecting that it was a "throwaway" item, but they very doggedly kept passing it between them till one of them found a way to get it open and replace the battery. My son was absolutely thrilled and thanked everyone in the store repeatedly. Then they refused to charge us for it!
We did wind up buying a fairly expensive ring and necklace set for my wife at the end, but I was still highly impressed that they'd pour that much manpower into fixing a child's watch, that wasn't even purchased...
Read moreI am very disappointed in how they handled my situation. My wedding ring that I have owned for less than a year broke due to the poor design that they sold my husband. Their only options for us were to fix the ring as is and hope that it doesn’t break again or give up the sentimental portions of the ring in exchange for a new ring all together. The only way that I could keep what my husband picked out for me (and they sold with the connotation that it would last for forever) and to trust that my ring won’t break again was to pay additional money for a sturdier setting. In the end, I went home with a deconstructed ring. I feel that they didn’t take ownership for selling us the flawed ring in the first place. They put me in an ultimatum that in order to trust that my ring won’t break again and keep the sentimental value, I had to pay more money or not have what my husband chose for me. I hoped that a 40 year old reputable business would have more integrity than demonstrated. A wedding ring is supposed to last forever and mine...
