TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR JEWELRY BEFORE TAKING IT HERE FOR A REPAIR! I took my ring in, that I’ve had for 10 years, to get the crown repaired. I was told that it would be ready for pick up after two weeks. Two and a half weeks passed and I called three times to see if it was done. The first two people I spoke to were unhelpful and didn’t answer my question. The third person I spoke to was snappy with me because I called and told me they would call when it’s done. I explained that I called two times previously that day and didn’t get an answer to my question and it was days after the date I was given for when it would be done. A couple days later I get a call that it’s done, I go in to pick it up, they put a short crown on my ring without asking me. I told the lady it was wrong and she kept telling me that it was not and sent me to the manager. The manager was helpful and sent the ring back. I picked it up about a week later and it still wasn’t the same crown. It wasn’t as tall as my original crown, but I was tired of dealing with them. I told the lady it was still shorter, but I didn’t want to deal with the hassle anymore. If you take any jewelry here for repair, TAKE A...
Read moreShopped there off and on for many years. One thing is for sure they only care for the money. My wedding ring needed to be fixed and the only way they would fix it is if I bought an over paid band there. The boss at Fred Meyers told me all that I needed to fix it( size, measurements). I bought my band at a way better price on Amazon and the jewlery fixer at Fred meyers came up with every excuse in the book not to do it. So I took it to a professional and they had no problem doing it at an amazing price to. They said it would be very easy to put the diamond in the new band. I also asked if i could get the prongs of my old band melted down into a dot and Fred Myers jewelry said it was not even possible.. I got it done with no problem at Ram with no problems. I recommend Ram jewlery. They are very professional and dont tell no tails just for money. They care for your sentimental values...
Read moreVery unsettling experience. I'm from out of state, so when I come to Washington, I get my ring looked at/fixed so I don't lose my warranty. I brought it in to get a prong fixed and the ring resized. 2 weeks later they called and said it was ready to be picked up. When I got there, I was almost unable to get my ring back because my last name was in their system incorrectly. (My maiden name, which doesn't match my I.D.) at this point I was furious. Find out the information in the computer was correct but not on the paperwork. Make that make sense!! So I received my ring.. I looked it over. The prong was not even fixed. Nor was it resized. (They fixed the prong the next day). I dont have time to wait now for it to get resized. Please tell me what this jeweler is getting paid to do!! Clean the ring!? Go elsewhere for your repairs.. such a waste of time and very disappointing....
