Went there this morning with my family. The woman at the counter was SO RUDE and condescending to every person she spoke to. I will NEVER be back even though we paid for free bowling for the summer. First. We were charged for shoes- which is fine no problem. Come to find out- they ran out of a kids size we needed. So she tosses these cheap shoe covers on the counter and says just put these over her shoes. And when it was questions she condescendingly says, “don’t you see all these kids here?” Like duh, of course we wouldn’t have enough shoes. Ok? So we got charged a pair of shoes we didn’t get. Nice. Then, the adults didn’t want bumpers on our lanes. So we wanted the kids on one, and the adults next to them. This seemed like a very inconvenient task for her. So then while the adults are playing our second game it ends about 7 frames too early. We go to ask her about it and basically blames us because we didn’t put us on the lanes she did in her end. How are we supposed to know that? We said we didn’t want bumpers and the adults were in the same lane. so we basically had to ARGUE with her to let us finish our second game. Her excuse for not communicating and explaining things? “I’m just too busy to do that” um, no. You are still required to do your job correctly regardless of how busy you are. I will never be back. Ever. Horrible customer service. She is INCREDIBLY rude. So rude and very combative. She is always ready to argue and blame the customer, even if is a simple question. Also, if you are going to have this “free bowling” that people are paying for- you need to do better to have enough supplies for the people paying for it. We were charged for shoes we didn’t get. Never ever again will I return here. I just wonder what happened to her to make her think treating people this way was ok- because it’s not.
Edit to respond: looking at the other reviews. It seems that it’s allowed to happen. regardless of a “bad day” it’s...
Read moreHorrible experience yesterday!!! This business needs to make major staffing changes! Went yesterday with my family of 5 for my son's birthday. I had some cookies in a box I was bringing in unaware they changed the policy to not allow food or outside drinks. There was a bearded and very unprofessional-looking man outside playing on his phone that proceeded to educate us with an attitude about the policy. Would have never thought he was one of the staff. I was totally understanding but did ask if there was a refrigerator I could at least put them in while we were there since they were topped with fresh fruit. Again, with attitude, said I could ask someone in the snack area. We proceeded to walk in and then to my family and self I simply commented "I wonder when they changed things because you used to could bring stuff in." Not sure what the guy outside thought he heard me say (the door was still open) but he walked inside yelling "Get Out! Get Out! I was so confused and tried talking calmly to him but he continued yelling. My son came to my defense and then the guy yelled at him to get out as well. It was the most embarrassing moment in front of others that were there in this family-friendly environment. Needless to say, we left and will never be back. It is so sad because I've always gone to this bowling alley and continued to take my children there over the years. I have never been treated this way by staff at any business! It is sad that one guy can create the loss of good business. I'm floored that upper management supports this behavior from their employees because I was told this was not the 1st time this guy has acted this way. What a let down, especially since this is the only place for us to bowl...
Read moreWould of give a zero if I could. Came form out of town (California)to spend time with family and their church group at the establishment. They were VERY RUDE. To start they were giving the church their lanes a hard time with our youth getting their shoes as a few arrived later than us. We got toasted that and decided to stay. We went over to order food and for starters no one was at the counter, we were patient in waiting as another gentleman was waiting as well, the lady came up said some one would help as she was in the kitchen area. The other lady came took the guy order in front of me he paid and it was now my turn to order. In that process another guy walk up and proceeded to order she took his order he paid and left I stood there like ok it was just drinks so I’ll let it pass, another guy came up and she proceeded to do the same I said excuse me I am waiting to order and have been patiently waiting to make a face at me and continue to talk to the other person at this time the kitchen lady walks up and I say I have been waiting and you took another orders before me, she says oh well he not paying he’s the owner son and proceeds to had him a beer, I said that shouldn’t matter I am a paying customer and I’ve been waiting she replies"now what do you need?" Nothing at this point how rude I would not spend my money where I’m not spoken to or treated fairly. Regardless if it was one fleeing or water, an give me one second to handle this would have been appreciated, or an apology and an acknowledgment and what happened and not excuse, which now reading some review is a common thing here. Very...
