Tacos Goyo — Restaurant in Longview

The service was actually horrible. No sign that says when you walk in you have to order at the counter. No one to greet us at the door. Across the room a worker said in room tone voice that we had to order at the counter. We had to ask her to repeat herself like 3x to understand.

We didn't get our drinks. Got our food before the drinks. Had to ask multiple times and then walked back to the counter to get them myself.

We never got our chips and salsa. Wish I could tell you how good or bad they were because that's usually how I judge a Mexican restaurant.

They charge for them, too!

But the food was delicious. I got the super burrito and it was perfect. The barbacoa was so tender and flavorful.

We needed to go boxes and again, had to go across the room to request them ourselves.

Overall I would want to eat their food again (very small menu, not a lot to choose from) but I don't want to go to their place of business again.

It looks like they also offer catering. So I'd consider possibly having them cater or even do an Uber Eats order but I do not want to go back...

If I could give no stars I would, horrible customer service. So my family and I walk in and wait to be seated. After about 4 minutes we ask do we seat our selves. We were then told you need to order and pay at the counter first before you can sit down. Hmm very interesting but ok so as we are uncomfortably looking at the menu figure out what we want and as we are about to go up and tell the lady so we can pay before service. Another group walk in are SEATED AND A WAITRESS comes to their table to take drink orders. So I look at the lady who told us originally that we had to pay first and as she fills salsa cups from behind the counter says I'm ready to take your order whe. You are ready with a horrible attitude so me and family got up and left. I was so excited to try this place. I will never patron this establishment at any of their locations and will tell everyone I know. You have lost not only a very good potential customer but the tip she lost as well is what makes this even funnier. Because you judged someone by how they looked and that is a horrible way to...

My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tacos Goyo!

I ordered the barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas; my husband ordered the discada tacos on corn tortillas. We were both feeling like queso, so we requested that our tacos be topped with some of their queso as well! We also ordered beans and rice on the side.

The tacos were delightful. The meat was tender and flavorful, the onions added a nice crunch, and the queso and lemon added an extra punch of flavor. The beans and rice were creamy and smooth.

We finished our meals off with drinks. My husband enjoyed their fresh strawberry horchata, while I enjoyed a real cane sugar Pineapple Fanta.

We will definitely be back. This place is well...
