This place is absolutely horrible. They took 2 months to fix a massive ceiling leak and huge mold infestation in my room, were unresponsive in my attempts to acquire a repair schedule, and invaded my privacy multiple times by entering my apartment WITHOUT notice, consent or just cause. There were termites that were never fully taken care of, and the dryers/washers straight up steal money and don’t work. The management here is absolutely atrocious and completely unable to handle serious issues. Living here has done an absolute number on my mental health and quality of life. I know multiple people at the complex who’ve hated their experience here and have personally dealt with the inadequacy of management. Please don’t live here. “Luxury” apartments in westwood are a serious and complete scam. I’m actively pleading with anyone who reads this not to live here unless they want to deal with people who do not care at all about tenants’ rights.

I personally moved back to California in 2022 as an independent young man and I’ve been staying at 433 Midvale ever since. I’ve grown to build my own little community of people here, and I’ve had great experiences with students and others from all walks of life in the building. It truly has been a genuine melting pot experience and I have enjoyed almost all of my time here. The building itself is fine, but what makes it is the community. I started living in the building when the new management was introduced, and in the past three years I’ve seen monumental growth in their efforts and care towards the building to form it into something more than the sum of its parts.

The leasing agents and staff try their hardest with what they have, and do the best they can always do because the genuinely care for the residents. There are unexpected things always, and they do their best to handle it as professionally as they can even with pretentious students who just expect everything to happen at the snap of a finger. Over the past three years, the building has gone through upgrades and amenities have an added that add more to the experience.

Room quality wise, good luck finding anything else is Westwood at the same price as 433 that is as modern as the building is now. Most of the places here that are non UCLA owned were built in either the 80s or older. For the price of 433 compared to everything else while it being fully furnished is a great deal and...

Horrible, horrible, horrible place to live. I like to give places benefit of the doubt, but this building is run by a company, not an individual, so they have no excuse for being this poorly maintained. I lived on the bottom floor, and had a leak coming from the walls and onto the floor, completely flooding my room. Turns out it was from an unsealed bathtub on the 3rd floor which took them WEEKS to fix. My room flooded multiple times because of this, and yes things were damaged because of it. They really...
