I've been seeing Krishna for over three years now, and I can honestly say she is hands down the best colorist I've ever had! She truly listens—which is such a rare and amazing quality in a stylist. Every time I bring in inspo photos or try to describe what I'm going for, she somehow just gets it and brings it to life even better than I imagined.

Not only is she incredibly talented with both color and cuts (I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair!), but she also has the best positive energy. Krishna is fun, easy to talk to, and just one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Our appointments always fly by, and I leave feeling refreshed, confident, and so happy with my hair.

All I can say is look at my before and after photo. When I first met my now forever hairdresser Kat, my hair was short and gray, kinda like my spirit at the time ;). I sat in her chair not really knowing what I wanted. My daughter was with me. Kat tuned into my life story … heading into a divorce, etc. I let her do what she felt was right. She matched my color to my daughter’s hair, indeed my natural color from childhood. She cut it so that it would grow out at will, no high maintenance required! The result was so fitting, I felt like myself for the first time in a long time. Since that initial cut and color, my hair and spirit grew wild and long! Kat’s talent for connecting who you are as a person with how she approaches your hair is a gift that keeps on giving. Her generous spirit and coolness is a bonus. I can’t recommend her highly enough!...

I am so thrilled that I found this gem of a salon (and in my neighborhood, no less)! The salon is SO gorgeous, clean, and welcoming. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and professional and they all contribute to a truly fantastic experience. I was fortunate to book an appointment with Julie; she listened to me and did PRECISELY what I asked for (I didn't want to lose a lot of length, I'm not a huge fan of over-layering, and I wanted super natural and low-maintenance color). It's not very often that stylists are able to produce results that mirror exactly what you had envisioned, but Julie absolutely nailed it. She's definitely the best and I'm so, so happy to have found my new salon. Thank you to Julie and to the whole staff at Amber Salon! You guys...
