I saw this truck on Santa Monica Blvd. It had quite a crowd around it. At that moment I was not craving birria tacos, but once I saw suddenly was. Awesome choice. Parked on the street at the meter. You can pay with cash or card. They have a wide variety of choices besides birria tacos. Chicken burgers french fries but mostly Mexican tacos. The man who took my order was very nice. The food was quickly made in about 7 minutes. And oh my God! That bag was heavy. I got the birria taco meal for $14. It comes with a large cup of consume. The plate itself is filled with roasted jalapenos carrots onions peppers lots of limes. They also included several salsas and extra cilantro and lime. With lots of napkins! I want to say it smells delicious. But they wrap it so well and so thoroughly that you can't get any smell. Everything is placed very nicely and then securely wrapped with plastic wrap. Which was awesome for the car ride home. I opened it up and my God it smelled delicious. And I can honestly tell you that today was the first day I've ever eaten five street tacos. Never been able to eat that much. The beef resembled roast beef with a lot of flavor. All the peppers and onions went so well with the tacos. The beef consume was delicious. The portion was huge, I am saving the rest for dinner. Overall. This is a taco truck is worth pulling a sudden u turn in the middle of a busy street to make a visit.

I have really been enjoying taco trucks lately and we have been to this one in Mar Vista several times The food is just great as is the kind service. The truck is so cute and all the menu is there and they have a great selection. You can even get a burger or steak sandwich there. They also have fries and great ice cold drinks. There is a few spots to eat outside, but most just get to go. You can even get a delivery service to grab it for you. They have wonderful combination plates and great salads. We love their tacos and they have a good selection. I always try to grab a mild one or ask them just not to put their hot sauce on it. The service is fast and really nice. They speak English and Spanish. The area is always super clean and the workers use clean methods to make the food. You will love it.

Taco Mar Vista is absolutely amazing! I stopped by on a whim and was greeted with super friendly service right away. I asked for a recommendation, and they suggested something that turned out to be absolutely delicious. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Mexican cuisine. Hands down, one of the best food trucks I’ve eaten at in L.A. so far. Thank you for such a great taste experience – I’ll definitely be back!

Omg I was craving Cali Street tacos while in Santa Monica foe the day and this happened to be the closest taco truck to where we were. Was not disappointed at all. The Consome was to die for amazing. I got the combo plate with birria tacos and regular tacos and they were both bomb. It was so good I made it a point to save a taco and since we got 2 huge things of consome (came with each of our orders) to give to our roommate back home I'm vegas. He about died too.

The best part was I refused to throw away the consume that was left over cause it has this amazing depth of flavor. So I decided to add it to my homemade chili I made the next day in place of the normal tomato sauce. Let me tell you it was the best chili ever. I want to drive all the way back for a huge pan of that consome!!!! Please send a taco truck to vegas and show the trucks here how...
