Beachwood Market — Local services in Los Angeles

My friend & I were looking for the best spot to take a picture with Hollywood sign in the background, so we drove up to this peaceful neighbourhood. This market has the usual groceries and stuffs needed for the residence, but what struck me the most was the counter guy, a man in his late 40s/early 50s, was really really helpful. I asked him lots of questions and directions, and he was nice, friendly and obliging, even came out of the store to assist me. I guess people here...

This is one of the shops in the beautiful little Beachwood Canyon neighborhood. I used to walk through this area a lot when hiking to the Hollywood Sign, although I believe that they now have closed the access point from this neighborhood...

Cute little market right at the end of Beachwood Drive. They have all the things you would expect from a neighborhood market with the added bonus of a great deli tucked off to the side. Seriously, this place saved us because of the wonky hours of the cafe next door. Great sandwiches, good prices. Nice selection of beer and wine and a really nice staff to boot. It's in a nice area too, so take a little walk...
