Read morePort-o-potty saved my life! So glad this trail had 2 areas of port-o-pottys--at the beginning of the trail near the parking lot and about halfway through. It's a rather simple trail/light hike, but when nature calls (pun intended), these were right on time. The trail is 3.5m and can take about an hour with a moderate speed of walking. It's good to know you can keep with your walk/workout, even if you have to use the restroom in the middle of nature. I also appreciated there was toilet paper, sinks with water, and paper towels.

Read moreThis walking path is absolutely gorgeous and perfect if you are looking for an easy 3-mile walk. It is paved all the way around the dam. Lots of birds, ducks, and other wildlife. If you start at the dam, there is a perfect spot to take pix of the Hollywood sign at the midpoint. Leave your big trucks at home; the road to the trailhead is tight and parking is limited. On the weekends, you should be able to find a parking spot if you get there before 0900. There are no permanent bathrooms at this time but you can find a couple of temporary toilets on the trail (1 mile from the start if you turn left to walk...
