Enchanted Escape Room — Local services in Los Angeles

Disappointed and really bad experience compared to 60 Out Escape Rooms we had experience with in the past. Found out that the only way to get clues and know what to do, is watch the TV and listen for audio clues when you do something right. If we watch TV, we aren't trying to escape - right? If the audio (recording - nobody is listening or talking to you) is missed or difficult to understand, the clue is gone forever. Anyway, should be fun regardless and found I was disappointed from the start. Paid online with voucher from Living Social. It expired a month prior but the companies online system honored it and sent me an invoice showing FULLY PAID. I arrived and they demanded more money saying they would not honor their own email or receipt! I don't even think that is legal!!!! Rather than arguing, I paid to prevent ruining...

I try to base my ratings on 4 main things out of 5 stars...

Location : Decent drive and outside ok , however there is stairs to Climb to get to the main room office or check in area . 2 stars in this area

Customer service: great awesome employees nice , however they didnt offer the percentage off if you win or even bring it up after the Experience was over ??? . so 4 stars in this area

Quality: Things looked faded or worn . hard to see some of the numbers or letters on some of the locks . kinda took away from the Experience a bit. 1 star in this area

Over all experience: if you ask me did we have fun?...I would say yes. You get what you paid for but i couldnt help but Expect more. 3 stars in this area .

This was our very first time doing an escape room, and I’m so happy we chose to come here. My friends and I have played many online puzzle games together and I wanted a good IRL challenge, so I went straight for “The Tavern” (Medium/Hard) escape room. The DM was very responsive and helpful (even though we refused to ask for help. And when he saw us scratching our heads, completely stumped. He provided us a simple hint that didn’t totally give away the answer.) Unfortunately we didn’t complete the room be we were sooooo close! Only had one more puzzle and we ran out of time. The DM was such a good sport and even took the time to ask us what challenge was our favorite. I’m so happy this was our first Escape...
