Delhi Spiceland — Local services in Los Angeles

A friend of my boss recommended this place so we went to check it out. My first impression was good, I love how clean and organized the market is they have a variety of produce, sweets and items from India, but our reason for visiting was the restaurant side, upon ordering their thali special they asked us to go in and sit down, the space for eating is very small, the feature wall is nice but the piles of chairs they have next to where you eat is very unpleasant. We waited for our food for 15 min and nothing no food or anyone asking us if everything was ok, my boss got up and went to ask, he found the guy with our plates but he was busy playing with his phone, after 25 min they brought us our plates so we start eating, on my boss's plate there was a piece of sometimes we couldn't identify, the meal included roti, gulab jamun, onions and pickles which we never got. The lentils which is one of my favorite dishes was like soup, the food was very cold, not appetizing at all, we never got out dessert and their excuse for this was that we didn't wait long enough. We asked them what happened to the roti and finally they brought it after about 40 min waiting. We decided to get up and leave, on our way out my boss which happens to be Indian nationality told the person who was at the register about our experience and all this person could say was thank you, thank you, thank you to everything my boss was saying instead of trying to fix the inconvenience.
